Very nice idea and great gameplay, I would just make the movement area bigger and a scrolling tile texture. It's impressive that you made this in just 3 hours. Good job and keep going on your game dev journey!!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the great feedback! I love the ideas about the bigger movement area and the scrolling texture, they would definitely improve the feel of the game. <3<3<3

Very thoughful to add mobile controls, I like to test on my phone. I wish more entries did that (including mine^^)

Thank you so much! I really wanted to make sure the game was accessible on mobile, so I'm glad to hear that it's being put to good use. Thanks for playing and for the kind words! <3<3<3

Nice one 😄 solid game loop, I had fun collecting gems and seeing how far I could get.

I wonder if this could have been a mobile-ish ratio instead of widescreen? Could be fun to see how different of a game it plays just by switching it up. The one recommendation from me was the drill loop audio, which cuts off before re-playing again. I think doing a quick edit on this so it looped without a break would have helped with my drilling immersion

Overall well done!

Thanks for the great feedback! I’m really happy you had fun with it. You're completely right about the drill sound. I'll definitely look into fixing that loop. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts! <3<3<3

Its fun And fast like a game you play to free your head,  i would've liked it more if the background moved to sell the idea of getting more deep,  thank you for a great submission, and hopes to see you soon in other jams

Thank you so much for the kind feedback! It’s wonderful to hear that you found the gameplay fun and engaging.

I really appreciate the suggestion about the background movement. I actually wanted to implement that, but as I’m still quite new to game development, I couldn’t quite figure it out yet! It’s definitely on my list of things to learn for future projects.

Thank you again for playing and for your encouragement. I’m looking forward to participating in more game jams soon! Feel free to share any other recommendations you might have.

The game is fun, but I noticed that the drill SFX isn’t looping properly. I think it might be related to the type of audio file you used. If the drill sound file is an MP3, the loop probably won’t work properly and will have that little gap/break that’s happening right now. If you want the sound to loop seamlessly, I’d recommend using WAV instead.

Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it, and I'll definitely keep your suggestions in mind. I'm still quite new to game development, so any advice or tips are always welcome. Feel free to share any other recommendations you might have!
