Description
"Playita Querida" is a Bossanova track composed for the Weekly Note Composing Jam #45 inspired by the theme "The Beach" and Antonio Carlos Jobim's music and arrangements, and the feeling of nostalgia when visiting the beach, like a necesary moment of putting you feet in the sand, getting wet by the waves and relaxing with the sound of the waves and the wind. Composed arranged and mixed in Ableton Live 10, using mostly Spirfire LABS Moon Guitar, Soft Piano, BBC Symphony Ochestra (Flute, Trombone, Violins), Trillian for the Acoustic Upright Bass and Celso Alberti Brazilian Drums + Percussion Sample Library for the Drums. Also has some foley of the sea and waves to give a little more ambient. This was very fun and I feel like in this track I finally was able to apply everything that I've learned about arranging and composing for winds and strings in a very intuitive and creative way, opposed to what I've felt sometimes as a very manual book way of doing things, this felt very flowy haha. Thanks for listening and reading, hope you enjoy this music. Listen here: https://samply.app/p/DU5iKVWnynu8jn9RduqK?si=9Kci60YAtDQyzR80itAbPRa59wm1

As someone from Brazil, I appreciate it! 😊😊✨
Omg it sounds so gorgeous!! I really like that you used mostly freebie plugins, really inspiring stuff man. Keep it up!
so berry sweet!
Really good submission. I liked the piano touches too, added more variety and color. Can't really fault anything, was going to say the second half could be a bit more varied but considering the layers in the song already it's done well.
