Good work! Great foundation, could easily add some sfx and a difficulty ramp like the other commenters mentioned to spice it up.
Same issue with the up arrow, but not a huge issue.

Okay, that took me a minute with the deceitful instructions, but once I got it, I got it. One idea: You could ramp up the difficulty here by increasing the speed with each subsequent correct (correctly incorrect?) arrow press in a row. Could see myself getting into a flow state :)
Simple execution of theming, which is never a bad thing c: i found in my playthrough that no matter what i pressed on up arrows it acted as if i pressed the wrong button, the only way i got past them seemed to just be to let up arrows pass by me and do all the other ones. congratz on submitting c:
Thanks a lot. I was trying to do the theme. But unfortunately couldn't finish it fully. You have to press the buttons opposite of the arrow. Trying to match the theme "The Instructions are a lie" 😝
i managed to get that far, but even when i pressed the down arrow it gave me a missed input signal on up arrows
Nice simple game! By the way, the game doesn't seem to scale fully, leaving a dark gray area. It might be an itch issue but thought I should let you know just in case. Also, when it shows the up arrow and I press the down key it shows the "Are you sure you pressed the right button?" style text so I think that might be broken. Still a solid game!
