Love the vibes!! this was very fun to play and super cute! my only note would be to add some buffer or system to prevent the player from accidently double clicking and handing the cash back to the customer, other than that, very intuitive and creative, good job!

Developer(+1)

oh that's a good point about the buffer! Thanks for the feedback!

"Chouchous ! Beignets !" :D This was really fun. The yelling sound to attract customers is genius haha. I was a bit frustrated to loose money on not having the time to finish giving change at the end of the day (and I got soft locked on my first play because I'm bad at mental calculation oops :D). But the game loop is entertaining, loved it!

Developer(+1)

Haha yes, Chouchous always was the other thing sold on the beach! This game was completely inspired by our summer vacations as children :D

I get the frustrating part about losing money. My reasoning there was, that you could kind of cheese your way to extra money if you dont give back change at the end of a shift

I actually love this game! I normally hate maths but having to do these small calculations in my head asap to make sure i can sell enough beignets while also managing my supply is super addictive and fun. The are is also really cute and my boss was very happy :)

Developer(+1)

So glad to hear that you enjoyed the math stuff in it!

We really tried to balance it so that the calculations don't become all you have to worry about. Initially we also had 10 and 20 cent coins and one of the beignets cost 2,30€, but that turned out to be not really fun for a smooth gameplay loop

Extremely addictive game, super fun doing the little mental calculations, great writing, the boss is actually mean and says I do any good job, that's crazy..

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice words and for playing on stream! And don't listen to your boss, you did great! :D

A brief learning curve (controls wise), but the game itself was basically flawless to play. Amazing art, sound, and gameplay!

Developer

Thanks for the nice feedback, it means a lot! Glad you enjoyed it and had a smooth experience :)

Yelling louder to get more customers was funny. I would have liked to see more uses for money, like upgrades for example. Good work.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree that there's possibilities to add more gameplay depth and maybe I'll get around to it after the jam.

(sorry in advence for the bad english) The game is fun, unfortanely i got stuck with a client when a didn't have what he wanted and lost the day there (in game) and i didn't know what to do so i restarted, it did happen again, but fortunally in the last day and in the end of the timer, but u can't leave the vending scene at all. Besides that i like the game and didn't realize that i needed to make the math to actually give the change back, and cound't just try and error the price back too.

Hi there,

First of all, thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊

When you don't have the correct Beignet for a customer, you should be able to press the exit sign in the top right to get out of the scene :)

Very interesting concept and mechanics. Loved the yelling noise. It was kinda stressful selling them when so many customers are there.

Developer

Ha, yeah I just had to use that yelling noise when I found it :D
