The artstyle really is top tier. Please continue development I would love to see the end product at its full potential!
Thank you for your feedback! We're on it!
I love the art and sound effects. It's a shame you couldn't finish it, would be a joy to see the full game!
Glad you like this foretaste. We'll complete what we had in mind for this jam and we'd like to develop it further. Thanks!
Great art work, love the hands popping up it reminds me of Hylics.
Thank you very much. We had to find ways to do animations faster, and the theme gave us the opportunity to test this kind of weird solutions. I'll check out Hylics for more inspiration in the future.
It may be incomplete and not much here, but hey. I still really love the visual look of this game and Maddie (I'm assuming is who we are) looks like an adorable gremlin of a child. The vibes are spooky and I can't tell if the stuffed animals are the threat or if Maddie herself is just willing to do whatever it takes to get that delicious piece of candy, but either way, I enjoy it. From what I experienced of the combat (by beating them up while they were just sitting there), it was simple yet nice. Flick a stuffed animal once before shrinking against the wall until they fall over to beat them while they're down. This is Maddie's Mansion, after all. We need not play fair. The candy will be ours. I think something might be bugged after getting the candy as you lose inputs and the camera locks up, but given your specific constraints and the fact that you say it is incomplete, I won't judge to harshly based on that. The animations are wonderfully fluid, the art is again really clean and I love the style, and even with it only being a handful of rooms, it has a surprising amount charm and it makes me smile. All in all, even though you only had half the time, great job on still making something. I enjoyed it.
Thank you for your feedback, it means a lot to us. The game has actually more rooms, backstory and powers than what you see, but right now that content is unreachable for bugs reasons. There is a whole world beyond what you experienced, and we're eager to reveal it and turn it in an actual playable game as soon as possible. If you enjoyed this small glimpse on the world we created, we'd be delighted if you came back to take another look once it's finished. Thank you again.
