amazing game \ artist pickmeup, i will legit get to the more physiological part and let my girlfriend and other non gmaer artistic friends play.
we dought ourself too much even if it not perfect the world wants to hear our voice - even in the world when it is like this, we, the little silly feeling squishy humans matter. radical my dude, i find myself in 'Optimistic nihilism'
also the qoute is beautiful! really does show the ripples we make just by being honest. you are art, even without trying! isnt that awsome!!!
for realgame of the year for me.. it met me exhactly when i needed to. at the end i took back my map got back to my life and made the real IRL choices i needed to make.
ok i, done gushing.
Relaxing & cozy game, except when you start reeling a fish
thanks for playing the game.. as soon the jam is over, I’ll push in updates enabling players to manage fishing complexity
Loved the atmosphere, I feel the art and the music really complimented eachother well. I had a difficult time with the fishing mechanic though I think it was a little too fast for me! I loved how you could move your boat and cast a line though. Nice cozy game with a really unique style.
thanks for playing and the feedback, I’ve plans to enable player to change fishing complexity
Nicely polished and cozy general atmosphere. The precision targeting of the fishing got a little repetitive, and at times it was frustrating how fast the fish moved. yet it is polished gameplay, but it just needs a little bit more diversity within that aspect of the game.
Nice submission.
thanks for playing and i totally align with the feedback… repetitiveness without diversity is the main issue that I plan to tackle as well; as for fierce fishing complexity.. I’ve a quick plan to make it comfy/hard based on user’s choice
sekmek the lead proggrammer talking. I LOVE this game the audio is peacful and you have 2 charceters which is insane for a jam. the game is a bit challenging but it finds its balance in the game. i found my peace playing this game. If air benders were real this would be the most played game among them
thanks for playing and the kind words… my gamedev skills aren’t good as of now for real air benders (I did a time-locked attempt); once I’ve more experience.. I’ll attempt it again
The fishing felt a bit challenging compared to the cozy atmosphere, but I really liked the overall vibe! The art and music are super comfy!
thanks for playing and the feedback, I do have (post-jam) plan on providing a setting on start page for challenging level
genuinely great atmosphere, I love the boat and lantern and background! Cozy games is a full of slop genre like many rn, but i've been thinking lately about how i use games sometimes not to do anything in the game but just to exist in the game's world. Like sitting in your little house in minecraft when it's raining looking out a window. Maybe the feeling itself is like looking out a window daydreaming irl. This game gives me that and I love the option of choosing your gender at the start too. If you do want to polish this up for a full release ill definitely be part of the target market
thanks a lot for the kind feedback.. I do plan on polishing it and adding more things to it, your words have given great spirits to the plan
Interesting fishing mechanic, but a little bit stressful trying to move fast enough to click in the right spot.
that’s a great feedback.. I plan on giving a fishing (easy, normal, hard) mode selector on start page, impacting the time target stays in a place which shall make it easier if the player intends to
