Very interesting idea. Having to gamble with the risk of losing health is a clever loop. Da shotgun button is also a nice way to start a fresh new run and getting upgrades. Animations and sounds seem so well, in general the game has a unique character. Once you get the 80% good mutate chance I gues the game is won. Great work!

A quirky and fun take on the incremental genre. Always felt a bit bad blasting the little guy at the end lol. And good job on the tracks as well! The drum & bass one was a banger

Developer

Thank you! It was my first time trying to use the amen break sample lol

Nice twist on the genre! It was very fun to see the little guy running around (before they get the shotgun)

The sound and music really added to the charm. I loved the screen fade in/out design- how did you do that??

Developer

Thank you very much! You can check the source code yourself here but essentially, it uses a TextureRect with a simple shader which controls the fading in/out. For the cool design it uses a GradientTexture2D configured as a radial gradient with mirror repeat and with the ‘from’ and ‘to’ settings very close to create concentric rings which are mirrored across the texture.

Amazing! Thank you! We want to try something like that!

Pretty good, I'm not a fan of how the only challenge comes from rng, but otherwise its a really wacky & charming game!

Love it. Throw in a background and it's perfect.
