Fun little soul game with cutscenes! Attack patterns are very readable, and the secret ending is a funny twist which fits the limitation well, it's just not much people is finding it.

Maybe the real comfy are the bosses we defeated along the way...
Some Suggestions
- There's no invisible frames on dodge, personally I'd like some :3
- Clearly the game lacks SFXs for impact upon hit
Doesn't really fit the summer theme, but you did a nice job on the art and gameplay!
The combat feels good, but I feel like the boss has a lot of HP.
The game did not match the theme, nor was there a limitation so I had to rate it down.
Great art, though the "friendly" ending was a tad bit out of place though. Love the animations and the boss moves.
Overall, I'd personally give it a 4.5/10
Haha, this one kind of surprised me! I accidentally discovered one of the endings because I was trying to get a feel for the controls and was running around. I like the way it feels and looks!
We learned today that life is not about fighting monsters but befriending them haha. The idea at the end when not fighting the giant got me smiling. Needs some polishing for sure but good work on the idea for the game!
Interesting dark souls combat which is quite well made, I feel like the dodge could go back more or im just bad. Not super on theme but it was enjoyable nevertheless.
I noticed a stutter the first instance a particle effect appears, I had this problem with godot aswell, you need to instance each particle effect on startup to avoid this.
Does not pertain to the summer theme exactly. but I am loving this. I would play the hell out of this game if you built it out into an rpg or dungeon crawler. Really anything. The boss had enough moves to keep me interested and the combat was engaging and fun. Add some sfx and were talking,
