Fun little game, but OMG THE ART IS SO DAMN GOOD ! Audio is a vibe

Developer

I do live it when someone acknowledge my work in all cap!

Thank you so much :D

Great art and funny background "music".

Developer

Hahaha, yeah. I was searching for the music for the game and thought "this is it" as soon as I heard it. lol

Thank you for your comment!

I really liked the visuals and the dialog! Very beautiful game!

Developer

Thank you so much for trying the game! Really appreciate your comment :)

Good art. Very simple gameplay.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try, imaginary_total!

Love the art!  Cool to see an attempt at a super simple game but driven by lots of story.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, I've been wondering about how I can make such a simple game more fun and saw the opportunity!

I can't believe im saying this but I had a lot of fun clicking mouse and space.

Perfect Great Art, music and sfx ,  clicking that gem feels very satisfying. I would like it on my phone and a leaderboard !! :)

Thank you CyanGlaz! Really appreciate your comment :D
Mobile version adaptation soon...!?!? lol

Amazing art style! The animations of the little virus babies and the particles looked really cool! The music was a bit too repetitive for my taste, maybe the loop is too short. The color palette is super cohesive! Well done!

Developer

Ahh, thank you so much 23c0n! I'm glad that you liked the part I put a lot of effort on.

The repetitive music was kind of intentional but I take your point. haha

I love the art style. Typically clickers have some passive income and numbers should increase exponentially, not 1 per click entire time. But somehow the dialogues were interesting enough to keep me playing. I was curious about what will happen next. After 2000 I think I stopped seeing dialogues. Good job overall!

Developer

Thank you very much for trying the game, really appreciate it.

> Typically clickers have some passive income and numbers should increase exponentially, not 1 per click entire time.

To be honest, I was not aware of this. Thank you, very good to know. I'm very happy that the dialogue element was interesting enough to keep you going. The threshold of the last event was... 3000. haha

Good use of various effects, and I like the story implementation. Kind of wish there was an autoclick function, there were quite a few clickers in this jam and my hands get sore easily.

Developer

Thank you very much for trying the game!

Yeah, a lot of people gave me the same feedback about the autoclick feature and I regret I didn't think of it... Sorry!

Live and learn, I guess. haha

Nice one! The art looks amazing, I also like that you added a story element as an incentive to keep going, rather than just the typical auto-clicker 'number go up' incentive. Very polished for a solo dev work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for such nice feedback!

As far as I see other people's feedback, I need to improve the pacing and even frequency but it's nice to get the idea validated :)

Good job on all the art. I like the effects of the background. Did you use a shader for that?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for giving it a try!

Yes, I used one of the shaders I found in Godot Shader Library site and tweaked it to fit my needs!

I really love the style! Incredible work!

Developer

Thank you very much!
I know there are a lot of things to improve but I’m happy you said that :)

Managed to reach 1600 mutation. I would love to see more things happening the further you progress. The storytelling was fun and the art was great as well. Audio is a little harsh when they attack you with vaccines. Great job

Developer

Thank you so much for your great feedback!

I think you (and the others) are right, the game needs a bit more events happening more constantly to keep the sense of progress going, especially after you hit about 1500 clicks. Unfortunately, I couldn't come up with anything interesting in time.

But I'm glad my idea is sort of validated; there's a room for Cookie Clicker to be more interesting!

Submitted(+1)

Very cookie clicker esque! I did get kinda tired of clicking but still fun

Developer(+1)

Thank you! And yeah I guess that's what cookie clicker makes you feel, eh? lol

After 2089 mutations, I called it quits.  I was expecting some kind of auto click upgrade at some point.  I do like the main idea behind the game and the story.

Developer

Auto-click... Why didn't I think of that. :(
But thank you so much for clicking so many times!
(The secret, torturous ending was at 3000 btw haha)

Hey!

I loved the dialogues during the game, and the way they escalate; it reminded me a lot of Plague Inc.

I'm not sure if I really like the chromatic noise shader, but I understand that it's part of the game's identity, which is very original and cool.

Developer

Hey CCadori, thank you for giving it a try! I'm glad you liked the dialogue.

And yeah haha, I've never used a shader in my games before so I wanted to try it. Learning process, I guess, eh. lol
