great game, i figured weed surrounded by crops is the best strat, as crops healing is just enough to keep everything alive no matter what. Unfortunately, game crashes every time i get past 1000 hp or something so I cant cover the whole map. Also, is being able to zoom out and pan with middle mouse button intended? Because there are a lot of free space outside the black plague, and if you're quick enough you can startup on it and its much better than middle 2x2. Although then crash comes even earlier

First of all, thanks so much for the review and the kind words! To be honest I dont think I've ever even played this long.. We will try to fix the crash :)
Wait you can PAN? I just assumed you finished the game once you filled every starting square. That's good to know lol and yes it does get laggy after a bit. I think each number and plus sign spawning takes a lot of power and since a crop spawns 4 pluses they are "super power hungry". If I am right about that (obviously I am taking a blind shot) object pooling would be a great idea. Basically instead of spawning a new text with the + sign every time you just deactivate them and then re-activate them once the next text appears and only change the number/sign on it if needed.
Really great game though. It was fun to play!

Yeah it was a bug we discovered right before we had to publish. I thought i had fixed it with a temporary fix but it seams i was wrong

Oh my god. It actually means a lot to me that someone has put this much time into playing our game :)
We kind of have something planned to solve the money problem. I’ll see if I can implement it tomorrow

Yeah that’s a really good point. We tried to get it across by changing the cursor to a sword. But it’s not as intuitive as we hoped
