Nice visuals, gameplay is simple but not boring. I will say the recoil was cool but it was annoying at times, I think ideally it would be unable to push you off platforms. I also didn't understand the theme. Good job overall though!

Your art is lovely and you know it. Some aspects of the collision system needs improvement. Maybe also adding modern mechanics for platformers like double jumping, shooting while jumping, etc would boost it further. I find the platforming easy. Music and SFX fits with the art. Nice little game!

Mario if he ate a super super high jump mushroom, had a laser gun and was a blue rabbit, is my description of this game, amazing

there are games that try to do too much and end up being released without much polish

and there's this game, which is something little but refined to truly stand out from all the other submissions

also the music is really atmospheric

I wish I could shoot when jumping. I think being able to combine different mechanics would make this game even more fun. What I really like are the sound effects and music (love the trees too). Movement could use some more mechanics like double jump to make the game more interesting. Overall, a very solid game!

ooooh Right off the Bat, the music is amazing and the art style makes it feel surreal.

This is a nice looking game, though i find the Jump mechanic a little unforgiving. ( maybe some coyote time ). I nearly got through the entire game without using my gun at all, i just jumped my way through the game, when i remembered though the enemies didn't stand a chance at all cause i made it my mission to totally obliterate all enemies that dared to stand in my way.

I also love the little push back applied to the player when shooting the pistol though it also felt a little much to me.

In all, this is a lovely platformer i plan on playing on multiple occasions. ( when complete )
