I typed in one word and then gave up.
Game seems alright, liked the art.
More words. I think the UI glitched after I died, I couldn't click any buttons.
5/10, this is a short one.
Thanks for playing! Sorry about the UI glitch! But I appreciate the feedback!
There's some bugs in this such as the light in characters eyes returning after being killed off, there should be changes in dialogue if there is only one other person left but I imagine this was more of a time constraint issue than anything.
I thought the character themselves was interesting because even in a "good ending", your character chooses to escape consequences in their own way.
If this were revisited outside of the jam, I would put in more scenes such as for death scenes and of course bug and dialogue fixes, but overall pretty alright.
Definitely on theme and hits all the challenges.
Thanks for playing the game! I appreciate the feedback! Yeah it may have a few bugs here and there because of time constraints but thanks for taking the time to rate it!
I really liked this. Many people might be turned away from a 2D game, especially a visual novel game since there's no "gameplay" really and it's a lot of reading. But I enjoy it a lot. The characters and setting introduced are simple and easy to understand, along with the minigames you play that will influence your ability to even make a choice near the end. And the choice you are forced to make is interesting since it puts the player in a unique position. I made the selfish choice, but not before learning a lot more about the characters that made it honestly difficult, and all the information you get even after the choice also makes you want to replay for different outcomes. Good job. 10/10
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot! I also watched your video of you playing Lab Partners and the game was great!
This was so amazing!!! I gave you high marks :)
I loved the different reasons each character gave for why they were there, and I picked based on things in my real life and why I would possibly do something like this.
The ending with the protag not being selfish however is a bit unsatisfying but I guess that’s how stuff in real life goes when stuff like that happens, so props for realism.
I really loved this and will likely play again to get other endings soon.
Thank you so much for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I also played your game Lab Partners as well, it was awesome! Thanks for leaving a comment! :)
I gave it high marks but being someone who would pick words no one would know i never got past the first game
Unless the whole game is that you would always lose the first game lol
Gave you an itch follow, if you like the thing(s) on my page(s), consider doing the same.
Cheers!

Thank you for playing! You can definitely get past the first round! Try picking simpler words and it will be a lot easier!
Hello! I want to apologize for not addressing this sooner but I checked the game file and realized my web build wasn't properly reading my text files! If you have time to play the game again I uploaded a build that fixes the first round. Sorry for the mistake on my end! Thank you for taking the time to rate!
