The art and music are solid, but I still prefer the WASD keys for control.

Absolutely beautiful artwork! The full custscene at the beginning was really well done and very ambitious for only 9 days. I thought the music really fit the setting and I also really liked the story too. It set the tone well and got me hyped! Great submission!

The cutscene was really good, in my opinion. I think you achieved what you were trying to accomplish with it.

I love the assets and the animations. Really good job there! I like the idea that you can build your own path to reach all the enemies. Just a note: I ran into a bug of an immortal candle-man xD so there was nothing i could do to stop them. Also, sfx and music would give it so much more immersion but i guess that's just a time problem. Overall, you did really great! Keep it going!

Really good entry. Good twist on tower defense. I did something like this for a class a while ago.
Fix up the layout and it will be really strong.

The Cutscenes are really cool and all the art and animations are pretty clean.

As a huge fan of PvZ, I was glad to play a game inspired by it! :) Defense roster could use a little more variety at the start I think, and it looks like you can't really lose in this game (enemies that got past my 'plants' didn't really end the game), but otherwise a good entry!

Definitely one of the best games artistically this jam. The characters are sprited very well. As for the gameplay, I think it needs some tuning. I placed four of the peashooters on each row and never had any trouble, and there was no end in sight. The music is also great! Overall, I think this is a very solid jam entry. Not a whole lot of theme relevance, though, but still a good game regardless.
