I’ve never posted something like this before, so I hope this is the right place.
I’m a lifelong gamer and passionate believer in games as an artistic medium. I’ve completed well over 1,000 games over the years and care deeply about game preservation, narrative design, atmosphere, music, and the emotional power unique to interactive storytelling. Making a game has been a lifelong dream of mine.
My background is primarily on the creative and legal side:
- 15+ years of music composition
- writing (novels, screenplays, essays/nonfiction)
- professional experience in finance/business (my day job is in fintech)
- law degree and legal background
What I currently lack is the technical side: programming and visual art production. Because of that, I’m looking to connect with ambitious creatives who may be interested in forming a small team focused on making a narrative driven game.
My ideal role would be:
- writing/story direction
- soundtrack/composition
- worldbuilding
- production/business/legal support
That said, I’m very open to collaboration and creative input. I already have some ideas regarding tone, themes, and atmosphere, but I don’t want this to feel like “my project” so much as a genuinely collaborative creative effort.
Inspirationally, I gravitate toward games and media with strong atmosphere, psychological themes, surrealism, and emotional storytelling.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: I want to make something special with talented people who genuinely love the medium.
