Great reminder that not every game needs to be super fancy to be fun. But I felt like the thumbnail for this did not match at all what the actual game looked like.
Nice, reminded me of some Windows 98 games which were published in some pc magazines that time :)
Outstanding minimalism, splended trad roguelike, has all the staple features and no nonsense min-maxing is done for you so you dont have to micro any of it. This is worthy of compare with the same minimalist set that I used for roguelike for Life of Rixlor The Game where i hearkened to old Moria in the late 80's but didn't pull in its entire functions.
Well done! gave it high marks.
Gave you an itch follow, if you like the thing(s) on my page(s), consider doing the same.
Cheers!

Short game.
The lit floor tile is the same color as unlit wall. so it is confusing imho.
Also I would suggest to use hotkeys for attack/potion/flee, as user is already using the keyboard.
The King Boss is easily reachable and beaten if you avoid most of the enemies and collect all the potions/gear.
I would suggest you to add enemies movement. So they might chase you if they see you.
This is a fun one! I love old school dungeon crawlers like Nethack and I just felt that a few quality of life changes could have been added to make it a little smoother. If I bumped into the down staircase, it immediately had me descend and similarly the combat was a bit confusing when I encountered groups (where other units hitting me?). But overall a nice lil game :)
