Hi everyone,
I am developing an indie game in Godot. I have the entire concept, lore, and visual direction fully planned out, but I prefer to keep the specific story details private for now. Here are a few general points about the game's direction:
Genre/Setting: A stylized narrative-focused game with a mysterious/traditional Japanese atmosphere (currently modeling a shrine for the map).
Art Style: 3D environment layout. I can draw, so I create and provide all the visual references and mood boards needed.
Mechanics: Driven by player choices that branch into 3 distinct endings.
I am still learning myself, so being a professional is absolutely NOT required. I use AI as a tool to help me with coding logic and Blender techniques. I am looking for two beginner/intermediate partners in their 20s:
3D Artist: To help with environment assets and map layouts (working on Blender together).
Programmer: To help implement game mechanics, branching choices, and UI/menus in Godot.
I will be working right alongside both of you. My work pace is very chill and relaxed because I don't like pressure. The ultimate goal here is to learn together, build a cool project, and honestly, make genuine friends along the way.
Here is a screenshot of the environment/shrine I'm currently building! Feel free to DM me if you're interested.
