Genuinely huge props for deciding to pivot last minute. There are countless experienced devs who would have just doubled down and tried fixing what they had (and ultimately failing), but you made the tough choice to change the plan to something that works, and that's admirable.
The game itself is incredibly serious and reminds me of Unfair Flips a bit :) I managed to get a high score of 62 but maybe I'll come back later to see if I can get a better score ;)

Dire Sillinessi was unfortunately running out of time, since i scrapped my first attempt and started completely new 10 hours before the deadline. but i definitely agree, that the game has zero juice and no real fun gameplay.
the spinning wheel is basically just a RNG. to get max points, you need to land on a non-mouldy cheese slice 7 times in a row, which is a below 0.25 % possibility... i think. my stochastic skills are a little bit rusty ^^
love the game,very enjoyable but there is no audio and I think you should make it have more of an enteresting twist

spin to winGreat turn around on this! Super simple but it still had me hooked to keep on spinning. Love the pixel art. Would be neat to see some gambling aspect or other ways you could expand on the concept.

Serious as a Heart AttackA very simple yet very addictive game that really sticks to the theme. I’m not a very lucky guy so my best score was only 30 but it’s a really good game, even if it lacks a bit of polish.

GEN-SPINNERthanks for your feedback! i was initially working on a different game for this jam the whole week and pivoted to Cheesy Wheel literally 10 hours before the deadline because my other game simply wasn't playable. i've started polishing a little bit and if i have time later today, i might also try adding some more juice :)
By far the most serious game I've ever come across. In all sillinessness though, it would be super satisfying if you could physically spin the wheel by dragging your mouse rather than just clicking it.
