Lovely visuals and audio design, really creates a nice atmosphere. Game mechanics felt slightly underwhelming, but that can be expected for a game jam game. I can already see some nice suggestions in the comments for additional mechanics so I will hold off adding more to the pile. Nice touch with the metagame notification and sidebar which you don't often see in these smaller types of games.

The vibes for this one are spot on - I'm reminded of old MS-DOS games or the Windows Pinball. Mechanically, I think it would've helped to have something that encouraged a more aggressive playstyle, as the only thing forcing me not to act super carefully is my own impatience. Factoring in the gravity of the planets might have added a little more to the "spin" idea of the jam, as well.

That being said, I feel like this game executes perfectly on the atmosphere it's trying to make. This is the first case this jam where I think the absence of music makes the sound design better!

It would be great if you add gravity influence

love the art style!

Simple game, but actually very fun! The only thing I'd have liked to see is some kind of difficulty curve. Maybe the spaceship gets faster over time, maybe there are bigger planets in different star systems, maybe gravity starts affecting your trajectory more, or maybe there are random events like asteroid showers... idk, just throwing ideas. At first, there's a nice challenge in getting used to controlling the spaceship, but once you get past that, the game reaches a bit of a plateau. That's totally fine, but I think some kind of progression in the challenge could have made an even cooler and more engaging game. That said, you've made a neat little game that has a really cool core idea that I'd love to see developed further!

Very nice job, especially doing all the art and sound yourself! The ship feels great to control and I particularly liked the metagame notification when I hit the score requirement. I think it would've been a bit more skill-expressive if the planets exerted gravity on you when you got close, and I would've enjoyed little mini-quests like delivering packages between planets or something. But overall, good job getting it done! :D

Metagame cog 75/126

Congrats on finishing the game! I dont think I've seen a similar game in this jam

About the mechanics, I think would be nice if the planets orbits could influence the ship somehow

I really dig how compact this game is, everything fits very neatly together and just looks and feels great. I got the gear.

The visuals in this game are so satisfying! Great work!

Very fun little game! Well done!

Simple but clean! Took me longer than it should have to realize why the game is called "sirius" lol.

I liked this. Easy to understand gameplay, clear and nice looking visuals, good sound effects. Though It could use some music. Very nice game. :)

I really enjoyed this a lot of fun, I'd maybe add a music track in the back ground and some trail particles as the ship flies around, but otherwise really fun!

Nice and simple, good arcade type game

Cool concept, great for a game jam in terms of length

simple but with a cool design :3

I'm not a big fan.
It'd be fun for maybe a max of five minutes before I'd get bored and move on.

I think I can best compare it to the slope browser game. If you planned to continue working on this, I suggest maybe making the ship easier to control at first, and then gradually making it harder and harder to maneuver instead of being set how it is now

Really solid, very retro in the best ways. I'm a fan of the simplicity.

Really like the art style. The controls were hard for me, but maybe im just bad
