this is a low ranker, but sirius is a character you can connect with almost instantly. idk what sirius what talking to. what that the sword scroll? either way. the scroll mech to change weapons is nice. actually a lot of the mechs are easily understood. a fun simple game.should have more eyes on it and ratings tbh. please finish this or make another game. will be looking forward to it !
Unfortunately there's no instructions on how to pull the sword out of the stone, and no button or movement seems to do the trick. Shame, I really like the Kings Quest x Magic style combo. And feel free to check out our game too!
Yeah, the click isn't recognized on the whole sword. Pesky bug I fixed today.
If you click the sword (dead center) then it shows the controls and advises scrolling while clicking the sword to pull it out.
Then scrolling afterward switches character states.
It's certainly evident that I was pushing time constraints. Needs POLISH. Big time.
But I think I will actually keep updating this. I would not have come to the premise without the jam, but I love it. I hope others will once I can make what I see it becoming.
I'm aiming for binding of Isaac meets dark cloud...with the scroll housing the testimonies of the different characters and a settlement where their spirits mingle and the player can interact with them. Then in dungeons the sword scroll inhabitants can effectively leave the scroll to possess Sirius.
Thanks for giving it a shot! I'm learning...and faster with comments. Much appreciated.
I can't figure out how to pull the sword and start the game. I pressed every key on my keyboard, and left and right click.
