I see what you're going for, but this was a really difficult one for me. To put it bluntly, this game hurt to look at. The wheel slowing down at random times after hitting spin once confused me into not realising I had to press spin again to stop it, and it was only after the round was done that I realised what was even going on. I think even just a basic image of two heads with the wheels above each one would've made it instantly clearer. I had a go in the second round after blindly buying everything and seemingly ruined my build as I dealt no damage after 5 minutes. I think an important thing to take from this is to look at what the player needs to see (the values of their stats and what they represent) and what can be hidden from the player (the exact stat calculations, which could be shown when the stat is hovered, instead). All that said, good job making a game in 7 days, it's not an easy task!
Metagame cog 97/126
It's hard for me to understand what's going on. The visuals are cute, but a bit "loud" when it all comes together, so I don't know where I'm supposed to look or click. If you keep tinkering with it, it would be nice if the colors on the wheels were more limited so a "look here!" color could be used around the interactable sections and help point me towards the thing I should care about in the moment. And maybe change the background to something more steady/simple with the same colors as the wheel to help bring it in without too much visual "noise" that makes it harder for the eyes to rest on the important bits.
Neat concept though!
I didn't really understand what was happening most of the time, but besides that I liked the sound effects and the music. The art style is simple, but it has a lot of character. Even though I was a bit confused, I still had a pretty fun time playing. Nice job!
The idea sounds pretty cool imo.
Unfortunately it was very hard for me to understand what is going on, on the screen :D
the UI was a bit overwhelming and didnt explain stuff so good.
A bit mor clean UI and some more feedback on what is happening could improve the overall experience :)
But just as i said. The idea itself sounds good :)
a really cool concept but im having a hard time understanding what's happening onscreen, i liked playing it tho!
Great
Its a neat concept. I think I know what's happening but I'm not quite sure. Keep up the good work.
Takes some getting used to. The stat labels are a lot to take in at first but once you understand whats happening its quite fun.
I really love the hand drawn art style for everything.
The game can be quite hard and if you’re playing like me you can ruin your wheel at first before you understand how to play fully.
When you finnaly understand the concept its a really fun game
I could not really figure out what I was supposed to do but I like the art style.
Once I started to understand the concept a bit more I was able to enjoy it. I think there just needs to be more feedback on what is happening, cuz there is so much text on screen and I barely know what it meant. I think this just needs a little bit more work and it would be great
