Fun little game. Like the other players already said, figuring out the movement was a little challenging without any explanation. I also didn't quite understand the ui in the top right corner. It had so many bars, and I didn't quite know what they were all for. Nonetheless, it was fun to play.

It took me a sec before figuring out that i had to spin around the propeller with my cursor instead of holding down the mouse button, and once i figured that out it was really cool!!! i love the concept of actually needing to spin the propeller for it and just after i figured that out i saw the lil guy spinning the propeller and that gave me a laugh.
I do think that there needs to be finer controls for the spinning because once i get it moving it took a while before the sprite comes down the screen again, i like the very simple visuals i thought it was cute!

I love the little guy manually spinning the propeller. Once I figured out how the controls worked, they were good enough to give me a little bit of control. Only a little bit. I think it's cool that moving the mouse in circles spins up the blades, but in practice I did not feel like I could make adjustments to my movement very well. I also felt like I could only descend by shutting the blades completely off.

I feel like, with this kind of gradual movement, I'd rather be exploring than dodging missles haha.

Just wanted to comment on a few things I liked about this game:

  • The animation of the guy spinning the helicopter with his hand is really cool I thought it was quite funny
  • The mechanism to spin the wheel to make the helicopter go up is done really well. I played a similar style game where you didn't have the option to slow down the propeller to make your character go back down so the fact this game lets you do that makes it feel really nice.
  • The wall coming in from the left gives you some sense of urgency to get going I like that

Some things I'd change:

  • Adding a description to explain the controls would be nice because it took me a minute or two to figure out how to get going
  • I would not let the helicopter fly off screen because you can just max the spin and beat the level. A collider up there to prevent that would be cool
  • The collisions with the rockets appear broken, without a description I can only assume you are meant to  avoid them but I could be wrong
  • Maybe the wall could be faster and you could add a tilt mechanic (tilt forward to go faster tilt back to slow down) this would make the helicopter controls feel better and you could then speed up the wall so its always in your line of sight adding to the tension.

despite this game being in an unfinished state I enjoyed figuring it out. Good Job!
