High score of 254! I kind of wish the moon orbited slower so it felt more strategic with how I manipulated it's trajectory. Great job!

Really enjoyed the game!! The mechanic was fun to use and I liked how you could use different movements to change it. Definitely got swarmed by enemies eventually, but it was a fun time. One thing I noticed is the moon could occasionally get stuck on the blocks in the corner, but other than that it was awesome!
Very fun to swing the moon to hit enemies, what a great idea for a game. I would like to see more mechanics (like upgrades and so on) and different enemies, but it's a cool, polished game. Congratulations on your entry!
Cute, it's fun to swing the moon around! would be nice to have more enemies and some sort of difficulty ramp.
Btw fullscreen works fine for me on Linux Firefox!
We also made a game with an "interesting" control scheme, and we'd appreciate if you tried it out!
The game is pretty easy to understand and jump into! I think having more enemies or introducing levels with increasing difficulty, new enemies, and different backgrounds could help to keep the gameplay more engaging over longer sessions, but there is nothing wrong with the infinite format! (I might just have a low attention span...)
The spinning attack is a pretty creative interpretation of the theme and I think it made for a fun mechanic in game!
The games visuals look good overall, but I think having the sprites so zoomed out makes it a bit harder to read. I think it could improve the experience if the camera was more zoomed in on the player itself and followed them around a map, rather than having a full view of everything. It would definitely make the sprites more readable! The music also really complements everything and helps build that space aesthetic!
However I didn't really feel the seriousness aspect of the game, although I think with the genre here it would've been pretty hard to include!
Overall though it was a pretty fun game!!
Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! Means a lot to me.
I was thinking of adding more enemies and levels, but sadly run out of time.
You have some great other improvement ideas too, if I have time I might implement some!
Yeah, I did not know how to make this game more/less serious (without loosing the core gameplay feel).
Very funny game! The theme is very well used and it feels very smooth to sling the moon around. On the bottom is a small wall where i stuck sometimes. Gameplay is very addictive!
THIS IS SO FUN!!! The audio leaves something to be desired imo, but everything else is 5/5 for me!!
Thanks for your kind words.
The collisions where not that easy to solve. After messing around lots, the most stable was to shape cast the hitbox of the moon every frame from the previous position to the current. Which creates straight lines, but because the hitbox of the moon is like 3 times the size of the actual image it still feels ok.
The controls feeling of this game is unique and interesting! More upgrades will make this better as a survival game.
It's not always entirely intuitive how the moon reacts to your movement, but when it does it feels really satisfying! Occasionally it gets stuck on that thing in the bottom left, which is a bit weird, but I liked spinning around a lot! Got a score of 1104
I really liked how the planet uses one of its moons as some sort of meteor hammer...
i'm curious though, will there be an upgrade later to make the moons bigger?
