This is such a fun spin on the top-down-shooter genre!

The pixel art was incredible too. Really impressive that the background somehow isn't distracting despite how insanely detailed it is.

I wish the shop worked properly, I would have liked to play this a bit longer with some upgrades.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

The issue with the shop is that I desgned it in a way that you can use it with the keyboard. Seemingly the hitboxes dont work, when using the mouse. However: you should be able to navigate all the menus with WASD (or arrow keys), and the enter key.

I hope this helps!

really good gameplay, it fits the theme well ! I also love the pixel art, it’s really charming. death sound is a bit too loud tho

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. Did you use the sound options or is the sound also to loud relative to the rest?

Submitted(+1)

didn’t use the options, I think it’s louder than the rest

Developer

Ahh okay. Thank you very much for the feedback!

Interesting mechanic and great pixel art! Like another reviewer said, the shop seems to be a bit broken and it took a bit to find where to click to purchase anything

Developer

Thank you very much for the feeback. I guess I should really double check the mouse controlls next time (I hate Unitys UI System(s)).

Neat concept! Kicking the orbs into the enemies posed to be quite challenging and fun. Not sure if it's just from my browser, but I struggled to purchase upgrades from the shop (had to hover near the very top right of the tooth icons to buy anything). It also did not update the shop stat text upon upgrading.

Really cool! I was a bit concerned at first that the orb was not hitting them, but then when I got into it I was pondering left and right. I liked the art style, but thought the text should be a bit more visible. Really cool overall!

Developer

Yeah. I also just realized the the timer etc is difficult to see.

What do you think about how the game could be made more accessible?

Submitted(+1)

I   was able to kick the orb around, and was positively surprised about how much fun this game is!  Pretty hard, I did not get to any update, but survived almost 1 minute!   Like the idea, this is really SPIN TO WIN!!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback! (I guess this refers to the other player who did not know how to kick). I hope this is not a technical issue.

I personally think that the game could have leant more into juggling-orbs (retrospectively).

Thank you very much for the feedback and playing my game!

Unfortunately the game does not work fully. I am not able to kick the orb around, so I need to let the enemies run into it. Also I am not able to buy any upgrades.

Hopefully you can still patch it before the grace period ends! The art and sound are very nice already :)

Developer

So I am really not sure what is not supposed to work. You can use the arrow keys (left arrow and right arrow) to kick. Also you can navigate through the menu using WASD. You can buy items with teeth you get from enemies.

I will check the code an see if there is an obvious mistake, but honestly it should really work.

Nonetheless: thank you very much for playing my game.

(I may add two small tutorial graphcis showing the controlls.)

Ah I quickly retried and I somehow forgot that I had to use the arrow keys, makes sense now :D

Small tutorial in game could indeed help

Developer

Ah, very cool. Thank you very much for retrying the game!

Well I guess I make a little patch for the sake of not confusing players to much. As a dev one really can get blind for such stuff, when already knnowing how things work. I guess this is my learning of today.
