Figure skating is a nice spin on the idea and the concept of such a game is pretty creative! Low-poly visuals are charming and location seems relatively detailed and populated, which felt very good.
But honestly, the controls are... hard to get a grip of.
Also minor peeve, but it felt strange to have only a small circle of light and very desaturated colors, isn't figure skating supposed to be bright to see the performance better?
nice!a bit hard to understand how to use the controlsCreative take on the theme. I had a really hard time grasping the controls. At some point I did sort of figure out how to spin reliably, but I’m not sure if it was obvious how scoring worked. I wasn’t able to finish any jumps without red warnings.
To me the tutorial seemed misleading, as it felt like I was following the instructions, but was only able to spin in a way that wasn’t following the instructions. The voiceover was a good addition; considering how much extra information was spoken, I would’ve preferred to see it on the screen to follow along better as well.
I don’t know anything about figure skating, so I would’ve loved more info about the different jumps and terminology used. Similar to a skateboarding or other trick sports game, I think this could be a lot of fun with more intuitive controls and additional types of jumps, moves, etc.
Thank you for playing and the feedback! I realised that the controls where hard to understand when testing with friends. But I tested too late to make all the changes that were needed.
This game looked really cool - a really unique take on the theme, and initially gave me tony hawk vibes with the controls and combo mixes.
Sadly, I could not for the life of me spin in this one. Went through the tutorial, and even in that, my mouse just didn't want to interact right. It might've been a problem on my end - but it meant I couldn't really dig into this more than on a surface level.
The aesthetic gives me old school PS1 era game vibes, and is a really neat setup. I wish I could've tried it out properly.
This is one of the most creative takes on the theme I've seen, and the music/graphics really create a unique vibe for the game. Very well done!
I like the concept; it is a very good use of the jam's theme. I also like the Retro 3d aesthetic.
Love the art, so good, and the music is soo good.

Love the style of the title screen!
This game is so majestic, I love the unique take on spin to win!
