great game, but needs some more polish. like its kinda hard to tell if you've actually hit an enemy or not, i would add like screenshake or something to that. also i didnt know what the slot machine did.

It upgrades your abilities: + = health, arm = strength, and >> = speed! Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the music and visuals, but I will say that it was not super clear what all the effects did from the slot machine. I assume the green plus heals, but I kept getting it on full health. I also assume the flexing arm was attack strength, but there was no indication of how much health enemies had (or even if they had any more than 1). The attack animation doesn't do a good job of showing what area it hits in, and the choice of "e" as the keybind for it makes it hard to use while moving, since my index finger needs to hit two buttons at once sometimes. I think something like space bar or left shift would have made more sense. I don't want this to sound too negative though, because I did genuinely enjoy the game, and it is pretty impressive for a first game jam.

Thank you for the feedback! I was planning on adding some sort of enemy health indicator and a description for what the abilities did but i ran out of time... As well i did notice and tried to fix the bug of the health not doing anything because of you only gambling before you defeat your first enemy in the level

I liked the music and art a lot, they're really nice! I will say that I couldn't really tell what the goal was when I started, so it might benefit from a tutorial or queues to tell us what to shoot for.
