Also I forgot to say, I loved the caseoh card, pretty funny ngl got a little chuckle out of me
Hey nice work, I like the wavy background you did, and it's a nice concept a card based spinner battle game, I love card games, Sts2, Friends vs friends, hearthstone, fragpunk, so this was up my alley, I think you'll make some good stuff in the future. I will say Attack seemed like the most important upgrade to get out of all the option.
Hey, thanks for the feedback😀. And yeah, I struggled a bit with the balancing.
The game seems interesting but I feel like I ran into a bit too many issues to properly play it. The background looks fun however and it is very Balatro-like but moves too quickly (felt like it got even faster over time…) and makes it very hard to read the tutorial text. The tutorial also didn’t show any actual gameplay UI, just arrows pointing at spots which felt even more overwhelming cause it seems like I would need to memorize locations and actions for something I haven’t even seen yet. When selecting levels, the black numbers have waaaay too little contrast. Didn’t even know there was something at first galnce. I also didn’t have any cards in my hand when playing and the only 2 buttons were start round (which seemingly didn’t do anything) and main menu which ended the level.
I feel like I encountered a very buggy version of this game and it’s a bit sad I couldn’t really get it to run, but could be interesting for sure!
Hey, can agree absolutely. I think I had wasted too much time for the Idea, and less for the actual game. I would like to change some things, but I'm on a trip, without my laptop. Still, very much appreciate the feedback👍
bruh, I just realized that the tutorial was messed up in the export. The second picture on the games page is how it should look like correctly.
Happens, game jam exports are always stressful ^^
There definatly is a concept there but, it's a bit confusing how dmg relates to winning and losing. showing how each part affrects a final score step by step could make it a bit clearer (assuming there are a few background modifiers). And for the roulette wheel it would have been nice to actualy choose what you're betting on to give a bit more interactivity.
Thanks for the Feedback.
