The art style is nice and the gameplay is tough but skillful, I didn't win but my best score was around 30000

Good aesthetics and tricky but fair gameplay!

"youre a failure just like your father, pardner" i unfortunately couldnt beat the game but the aesthetic and vibes were awesome

I love pretty much everything about this game except for the lack of insta-restart.  That aside it all feels and looks so good and I love the sounds of the coin when it's about to hit the ground.  Great work!

Great style! Right down to the game's page design.

The long intro sequence—combined with how easy it is to lose—gets a bit annoying after a while. I would have played a lot more if not for that. I wouldn't be surprised if some people gave up for this reason without ever really grasping the mechanics.

But as long as things were going well, it was fun :)

The game's style is solid. Maybe I'm just bad but sometimes it like the coin just falls over. Other than that great job. Keep making games!

Very creative idea and a great game. I love the art style of it.

thank you so much, Partner! appreciate it!

Really good idea and great execution! 1 thing is it could be good to have a little visul or sound indicator that you are doing something to the coin. I loved the game.

Developer

thank you so much, Partner! It's definitely in the list post jam to add audio queues and a little stronger visual indicator, so the ride is even nicer 🐎

Something really satisfying about reviving the coin back to a full spin after a near drop.

Love how strong the aesthetic is for something that appears so simple.

Would like a slightly quicker restart after game over since the game itself is quite addictive.

Great submission!

Developer(+1)

Well thank you so much! I'm glad the common point is the quicker restart cause people are getting addicted, ahaha, that's great to hear! And thank you for the lovely compliment about the aesthetic, it's definitely where I spent the most time (since it's also my expertise), so I'm glad it was worth it 🤠

The aesthetic is super nice, and I really like the game. At first I thought the challenge was just about surviving, but I started dying at the 30s mark, which is great because it shifted the focus and made me play riskier. After some tries I got the hang of it and could finish it!! I also saw some comments about the intro, personally, I kinda like that you can’t skip it. There’s not really a point in rushing this game, so I think it fits. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you so much, Partner! Glad you could get your own Black Stallion 🐎

Regarding the skip I think it depends on the type of player a lot. I'm the kinda guy that needs a little intro to take a breath and get mentally ready, while some players I feel like they want to just try again and again in succession until they succeed, ahahaha! So might consider making it optional to skip, to accommodate both playstyles 🪙

super awesome theming and visuals!! lol @ the credit to phoebe bridgers in the description

Developer

thank you so much! and of course, if she didn't release a song I'm not sure I would've had the energy for last day crunch, ahaha. Lost Boys the soundtrack of crunch fr fr

Super fun short game, and really impressive visuals. It's pretty hard but I feel it adds to the charm.

Developer

thank you so much, appreciate it, Partner! 🐎

Very interesting game! love the aesthetic.

Developer(+1)

appreciate it, Partner! I'm glad the vibes were on point 🐎

Submitted(+1)

really nice but why is it so difficult the max i could get was 45000 it gives me rigged casino vibes (if you keep working on this, which you should because it is so coool, please make the cutscene at the beginning skipable (O.O) )

Developer(+1)

the Black Stallion is very valuable, so you must work for it, Pony! ahahaha! But yeah, it might be a bit too hard, and definitely I'm at least adding a skip cutscene button post jam 🐎

I really like the visual style to this game, and keeping the coin up is a very unique idea! I couldn't beat it though - keeping up the coin is tough!

Developer

thanks you for giving it a go! appreciate the compliments 🤠 (and yeah keeping the coin up is really hard, ahaha, I had to reach out to friends to playtest cause I was playing it so much and getting too good)

This game is dripping with style. The gameplay is simple but very enjoyable and engaging. I just wish I could restart the game without having to watch it slowly scroll down from the start menu everytime, but that just goes to show how much I wanna keep playing.

Developer(+1)

thank you for the lovely compliment, Partner! "dripping with style" is almost as good as getting a Black Stallion!

and yeah for sure, I really should've made an option to skip cutscene 🪙
