It's pretty hard with the platform restriction and bumping the cat's head -hey, an animation could make that even funny- on the ceiling and the upper platforms, but it's fun, especially when you win. Although other than the spinning when changing to next levels as a transition, I don't really see the theme. Also, it doesn't seem like the objects are detecting well when you go past them since often they don't fall, but maybe I'm missing some requirement.
A fun little platformer. I think the first level was the hardest. I almost gave up on it but decided to power through. It's possible the later levels were easier because of my practice on the first one. The cat physics were tough to work around. The cat fell very quickly, and bumping into a wall or ceiling very quickly, if not instantaneously, killed any momentum the cat had. It would be nice if when bumping a wall or ceiling, the cat kept its velocity, and had to decelerate rather than the abrupt switch change. It was also a little difficult managing the hit box of the cat. I might adjust the hit box to ignore tail.
Fun game, I have a tuxedo cat that I'm sure would do the same if given the chance!
The light puzzle elements were fun and the twist was a cool way to change up the level. I did notice what I believe was a visual glitch (?) where some of the objects didn't fall after restarting. Unless that was intentional? Either way nice game and cute art.
I enjoyed your game a lot.
The sound design was top notch, level design challenging but not undoable and knocking down things is my favourite genre in games.
Loved the (literal) twist after the first level. ^-^
The jumping did need quite a bit of precision but was definitely doable.
I did not really notice a timer. Where is that situated?^-^
The simple pixel art style works super well for this sort of game and it was actually really fun to play and as a big cat person I appreciated the realism offered in the various objects being knocked to the ground. Loved it :)
