If I had a nickel for every time I saw a ball being used as the main character this jam I would have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's interesting it happened twice.
I do wish there were more sound effects. Also the music didn't loop for some reason, so most of it was me raging in silence. The camera angle threw me for a loop as well, as I often didn't know if the ball was on the floor or not. A dynamic camera or some way to adjust the angle would be nice.
It was a very hard game for me - it took me three minutes to beat level 2, at which point I knew I was screwed. But nonetheless, it was still rewarding when I did finally beat the last level.
I had fun! I especially enjoyed using my speed to jump past large chunks of the level, although I'm not sure how intentional it was. It would've been fun to have "par" times to compete against, so I knew what I was aiming for, time-wise.
Really liked the game, though honestly not the most strong use of the theme. I agree there were some easier routes, but to those who like a challenge will definitely take the hard path(its much more fun).
The final level with the gravity change was a bit confusing at first, but i evently got the hang of it, wish that were also in the rest of the game, would 've made it much more interesting and would be a pretty good use of the theme. Or at least that's my opinion.
Overall, nice game, fun, simple, challenging (if the player chooses so), and a lot of potential for speedrunning....
Good, but hard! For level 5, I just cannot wrap my head around what's happening, so I haven't been able to finish it. But the controls feel good, especially in the early levels, so at least I know it's a skill issue lol - also really glad to have level selection in the main menu so I can keep going back to ones I struggle with (or enjoy) without having to replay everything again in order. Nice job!
Great game! I enjoyed cheesing levels 3 and 4, but it feels like there's much more incentive to quickly go through what I think is supposed to be the "harder" path than go the long way around. For example, you can quickly go through Level 4 by just holding forward at each checkpoint, so there's no point to go around. Being able to turn the camera would also be convenient. Overall, I am a sucker for this type of game, and the gravity gimmick is really cool at the end, so it leaves you wanting more in a good way!
Very fun game! It's simple, yet enjoyable. The level design is well done and there's also some skips you can do which is nice.
I don't know if I did something wrong though, but the music didn't loop, it just stopped after the track ended.
Also, I think being able to quit to the level screen whenever and have a dedicated reset to checkpoint keybind would be some really nice additions.
Overall great game!
very nice i feel very attached to this little ball. unfortunately me as a player holds him back. but very cute
Very cool simple fun!
Nice game! Had fun finding speed running strats for completing these levels
Wow, you uploaded this well before the deadline. Kudos on getting this done in just a couple of days! Some nice mechanics and level design shown here, just wish it had a bit more of an identity, but I enjoyed my time with it.

This is nice I enjoyed it! Some quick obvious feedback would be, a main menu button/keybind in-game, maybe some communication on the gravity switching mechanics, like the platforms become a different color or something, also I would like to have a keybind for respawning to the last checkpoint without having to wait the fall
Reminds me of Marble's Marbles, works very well for speedrunning if done right, keep it up!
I admittedly cheesed some of the levels, but regardless I had a good time!
Precision meets spin to win! Nice game! I learnt to be more patience with life in general by playing the 5 levels! Had much fun! Well done!!
