I like it! Though it was difficult to tell exactly how the A-D keys were affecting my movement. Finding a way to communicate the character's momentum and jump arc to the player with some UI elements might help I feel.
Cool game concept. Unfortunately, fullscreen doesn't work (at least not in my PC). Controlling the player feels unresponsive, and the pixel art is stretched in some screens. Nice backgrounds! Keep making games! I really feel like you can improve the gameplay loop in the future!
Thank you! Yeah full screen was something I wanted to support but I wasn't sure how to solve and didn't want to spend too much time on the last day trying to fix. I also wasn't fully satisfied with the feeling I ended up with on the player controller, but again I wasn't able to fully solve my issues with it before the end of the jam.
Had an absolute blast with it. The game looks and sounds brilliant. The gameplay loop is simple, yet highly addictive. If this was available in my school days, I wouldn't have gotten any work done. I was also very impressed at how fresh the concept stayed between each level. If I had to nitpick, it's that the level select screen is a little unintuitive.
I enjoyed the game, stunning art, spinning didn't always feel like it was giving me height, but i was able to get used to that
Thank you! I wasn't completely satisfied with the player controller but I'm glad I got it to at-least where it is by build day.
