The spinning disk to maneuver the enemies round was a cool idea, but it is suffering from severe lack of game juice, sfx, and it would be way nicer if the disc sprite actually spun when you spin it. And also right now you can just corner enemies into a wall (especially the green ones) and spam dash to get rid of them but that's more of a cheese than anything. The art is cute tho!

the web ver is tiny, the sfx are missing, would benifit from a small in-game tutorial about the controls. i like how it kinda mimics pico8 games in style and controls

A game where you fight enemies on a disc that you can spin for an advantage is such a SICK idea!!! The game could use some more visual effects to indicate things like hitting enemies and just more polish in general, but the core concept and gameplay is so much fun!

The disk spinning concept was very creative. It would have been a great game if that concept had more utilization in the game tho.

Nice pixel art and interesting concept!

Maybe it's the web version, but everything was so tiny (you should enable "scaling" in Godot window parameters), so it was a bit difficult. After some time, I managed to see my player moving, and used the keys to dash through ennemies. I could'nt spin the disk, neither use tools, so I couldn't really enjoy the game.

Anyway, congrats on the jam!

Spinning all of the enemies around was a really clever way to incorporate the "spin to win" theme of the game jam.

Unique game but I wish the enemy health was clearer and when you spin the disk the sprite did too

Really cool idea! I think if you had more time you could 100% develop the idea, the core way the theme was incorporated into the gameplay was great, albiet a bit buggy.

The main downsides are the lack of audio, graphics being a bit small/non descript, and lack of telegraphs for damaging/being damaged.

Still good work on the game!

i think attacking on x is stupid but i really liked the visuals

This one was fun. The game window was very small. Maybe it is just a me issue on Firefox.

The concept is cool, my main gripe is the lack of telegraphing, you have no idea how much damage you are doing, how many waves of enemies are left, how much time is left on the timed levels or how much health the enemies have left. I would also recommend having a prompt in game when you start along the lines of "Press enter to skip dialogue".

Over all, a fun game and a good concept.

fun concept, the pixelart turned out great,
for me the biggest problem was that I could get stuck on a wall and that I could pin enemies down and just mash button to kill them.

Nice! It’s a good idea. My biggest struggle was figuring out when I was hitting an enemy and when I was being hit. I think a bit of visual or audio feedback would really help. But well done!

Very interesting concept! Its a good start but I had some issues dealing damage to the baddies. Overall very good and worth exploring
