Really love how new concepts are tutorialized in each level, gradually ramping up the complexity while teaching the player new concepts. Great job!

That is to be seen in the sequel, if one ever would to come (probably not, but maybe someday). I am happy to hear you enjoyed it <3

I've already seen a couple games like this where the level "spins" but this one does it really well! A lot of others left me feeling dizzy but the fixed screen makes it better. It's very simple but the puzzle complexity increasing with each level was nice. It didn't feel "too easy" but also not too hard, which is good because I tend to not enjoy these types of games just because it wont hold my attention for to long. You managed to add in mechanics with each level making the "Aha!" moment of solving them feel super nice and deserved. Using the enemies to hit the buttons was a really fun addition, and I loved trying to get them all shoved into one corner just to see what would happen. I liked the art style and music a lot, both simple but cute! I think you did really well and I can tell you've got some good experience under your belt from previous jams (the simple tutorial, increasing in difficulty, unique solutions) these little details add up and make your game feel very polished even as simple as it is. I really enjoyed it over all, great job to you and the rest of your team and I hope yall had a fun game jam <3

This comment means a lot to me. I highly appreciate the length and detail you went into. There were a lot of seemingly small decisions during the development that took a lot of time to actually figure out, for example the rotation speed, the fixed screen and no static elements during the rotation just to making it as smooth as possible without the feeling of headache and dizziness. The length of the game, music, art, level design. I feel like all the aspects are appreciated. It is true that have some prior experience in previous game jams this is the project I had put the most effort so far and to see every aspect of it being praised in some way is astonishing for me. We all had a lot of fun playtesting and I it makes me more than happy you enjoyed the game! <3

Really cool game! A fairly simple mechanic but it was really well explored, specially liked the ones where we have to control the enemies to hit the buttons! The art style is really cute aswell, great game!

Developer

Thank you! Designing the level 12 (the one where you control the enemy in the box) was one of my favourites to design. I highly  appreciate your kind words <3

Simple yet sweet, I love some of the ideas you had here too! Quite awesome art too for a solo project, got real creative with the ideas here too! Great work!!!

Developer

Glad to hear you liked it, I tried to go for simple cozy graphics with 8x8 sprite resolution. Thank you for playing! :)

WOW I love the art, we had the exact same idea!

Cute! Love the little sound the goober makes when he hops and I enjoyed making enemies fall into spikes lol. For well done for a solo project

Developer

I am happy to hear that! For the sounds, when starting the project I decided, I would try recording the sounds myself via Audacity and if that turned out to be too hard, I would go for an asset library instead.  Recording of the jump sound was the hardest of all the sounds to figure out, so I am glad to hear it was worth it. <3

Very clever design! I am not sure if this was intended or not (probably not) but if you click your mouse or press e very quickly you can do a full 180. I kinda cheesed a bunch of levels. Oh well. Good game

Developer

I am glad you enjoyed the game. During the development i considered adding some  sort of a cooldown to the spin, but i believed it would only make the game feel less responsive and clunky. While watching the playtest one of the testers also did the same thing as you and for him it made the game more fun for him simply for the possibilities, so then I decided to leave it be. Once again, thank you for playing!

Incredible game!! Such a simple concept but executed so well. I am actually amazed by the level design, I played through the entire game and loved every second of it! The boxes and buttons and the little red guys really add depth to the game. Overall amazing! My fav so far for sure

Developer

I am honoured to hear that. I aimed for using the few core mechanics in as many unique ways a possible.

its actually so cute i love the littel green guy so muc
If the Spinning was a little faster , it would take teh game from an A to an S . Really like the levels where you are just the controller in a box. 10/10!!

Developer(+1)

It makes me happy to hear you enjoyed my game. The speed of spinning was actually pretty hard for me to adjust as too high would make you feel dizzy after a few spins, while too slow would take away a lot of game sense. I think the speed could be around 0.05 - 0.1 second faster now, or I could have added some sort of "speed adjustment setting". My biggest worry during making this project was that so it could be playable for people with motion sickness, so I decided to be more cautionary. Again it warms my heart hearing you liked the game :) Stwqhbewwy

I liked how you incorporated more features as the levels went on! Very well executed!

Developer

My humble thanks to you. I tried to make the first half more lenient so you can experiment with every feature when it is introduced to you, with a more steep curve towards the second half where the mechanics interact with each other.

Love this idea! The art and music is really well done too

Developer

Love to hear that! It is actually the first time I tried "composing" a longer piece rather than practicing with creating shorter samples.

We had similar idea but your execution was way better :D Also very fun to use enemies or objects to move forward. Really nice game!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words, I tried making the level "win condition" as varied as possible. Also, I will gladly see what you have cooked with you game :)
