It's a creative use of the theme! Though I couldn't tell what the weapon type changed in the gameplay. The bullets weren't going towards the crosshair for me, and it was lagging a bit when spawning the enemies when there were a lot of them. I'd recommend using object pooling to spawn the enemies. Also I felt like the visuals were a tad too blurry for me. Still I had a lot of fun playing, and your 3d model designs are great!

I really liked the idea of spinning to get random weapon and bullet types. It has so much potential. And it would be nice to have a way to heal early game besides increasing max health by 10

Fun little arena shooter! I think more enemy types would go a long way for the game, but obviously we were all very constrained for time. Good work.

It's a neat idea, I'm curious to see how far you could take it with more dev time.

The visual style is great, but I feel like it goes a little overboard on the pixelation and the readability suffers a bit as a result.

Overall, still a solid entry, and very impressive for 7 days!

the idea was great, but realisation in game a bit meh, more juice, effects could do it much better, the pixelation hurts eyes, there's lots of potential to it, I'd really want some update or remake with lore or stuff like that!

thanks for your feedback

Nice game! I quite liked the concept of having the different gun types randomly at a press of a button.

I did find that sometimes changing weapon type mid run, id be swapped to a much weaker combo, basically ending a good run.

The pixelated look is nice but can maybe be dialed back a smidge. Its  bit jarring on fullscreen.

Also creatures tend to creep up to you from behind and suddenly you are dead. Id say visually it can use some improvement in player feedback. So take damage, make me feel it.

The music is chill. and fits the kind of gameplay. SFX wise the bullet shots could have a bit more oomph to it but its not a deal breaker.

I think with more added variation

With a bit more variety in enemies i think this could be really addictive

I really liked the mechanics and style.

Would enjoy having the Doors being drawn out more or otherwisely shown as "place to go to", but that might be because I get myself lost alot in general in First person games.

I already told you about the Escape Key in Discord, would love to also be able to adjust the mouse sensitivity, but these are all little things of course. The game itself is already amazingly good for this short time period, keep it up <3

The gun spinning to get different effects is a cool mechaninc! I loved the retro visuals and with the upgrade system this can be expanded upon something interesting
