This is pretty cool I like all the drinks and stuff. I lost because i bought like 8 vodkas and bet it all on slots lol. Was pretty cool though I like all the minigames, and I feel like the 777 was a bit too common (i got it more than the 3 of a kind) Still was a lotta fun though

Got to the end in time by exclusively playing the card game. I think if the choice of what game to play was a little more nuanced then it could be a lot more fun. As it is, the card game is just so much more reliable than any other choice. Even if the other games were better on average, I'd still pick the card game because I can control the odds.

This is how it feels anytime I play poker

Who doesn't love gambling your last money away right?

Submitted

Gambling simulator, you love to see it! Nice and simple overall, and a funny (sorta) story!

I like that the drinks are like perks that help you gamble better. A little confused on why the day counter changes to ??? though. My grandma did not make it unfortunately...

Developer

the day counter changes to ??? to represent how casinos make you lose track of time.

I really appreciate what you did with the ending at $4,000. It was confusing as to why the UI said “Day ???”, but the payoff at the end was really worth it. Gameplay is pretty simple but it’s good enough for you to want to beat it.

How to go to the next day? I finished gambling and drinking. I'm oversinning without sleeping XD

I had a lot of fun playing your game! Very cute art and very relaxing. I made almost 2000$ from the slot machine, spent it all on drinks, and then lost everything on my next slot machine pull 10/10 rip my grandma

I like it but pretty confusing

Truly revolutionary but the card game is kind of confusing.

RIP grandma… The card game was definitely the best of the three, but mostly because it gives you the most control and opportunity to win. Overall, I enjoyed it!

The graphics are nice, the music too, but the gameplay is pretty lacking, out of the three minigames, only the cards provide an actual loss and feels like gambling, which is really nice, but it makes the other two minigames boring, since there is no penaulty, it's always a win, but it's an easy fix and would be a huge improvement. The idea of the grandma having cancer is indeed pretty serious and could make for such a compeling game, more of something storydriven where you are constantly reminded of the grandmas situation, maybe even leaning to horror, as it'd be in practice in real life.

The card game was easily my favorite! Once I got rich enough, I was able to keep drawing new cards until I got a twelve and then bet all my money on that. Unfortunately, I took too long to save grandma. A way to bet more money on cards without having to spam the raise button would have been nice.

Liked the visuals  a lot!  Did not get to the 4000$ in time, but had some fun (and gambling principle growing on me)!   Good job!

Art style's nice and I love me some gambling, though some of the buttons hitboxes are a little bigger than the text itself

Very fun art style and premise, but gets repetitive quickly, and the lack of player agency in the fact that its all mostly randomised makes the game a bit boring after a bit. Still a lovely project though!

Really polished game. All the menus and art are clean and nice-looking. The gambling mini games get tired pretty quickly though, considering the amount of money you need to save Grandma. In my play through i got the $4000 but not in time. It  consisted in spamming the slot machine as it seemed to be the  most consistent game to earn money. The big payouts were not enough i don’t think and the bar just didn’t seem worth the  initial investment.  All round though, great game good job!
