I like it! it gives the old windows pipes screensaver vibes that is combined with space and hamster balls lol
Thank you!!
Really cool!, really liked the art style with all the low poly, almost arcadey vibes, game was fun and I reached somewhere around 2000 points, a leaderboard would have been cool, however i know that would imply a lot more work and maybe there wouldn't be enough time.
Somehow i managed to get out of bounds on one ball after bouncing from circle to circle at high speeds!
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, there are definitely a few out-of-bounds glitches lol. Leaderboard would've been super cool! But as you said, it was hard to do in time lol. I will have to look into it once the jam is over :). Thanks for playing! :)
The little critters in the orbs are super cute :3 really interesting vibe!
Thanks for playing! :)
We both made games with silly little guys inside balls! i found this game very charming and maybe i am just bad but I didnt feel any need adjust the speed ever, it was good fun spamming balls though, I was really cheesed to get one through one of the pipes. Good fun
Thank you! Great minds think alike :) haha. Yeah, tbh after uploading the game to Itch I found myself never adjusting the speed lol. Glad you had fun!
The presentation of this game is so frickin cool, I love the vibrant colors!! The screams from the little guys inside the capsules made it feel like an absolute fever dream, but somehow it fits so well with the rest of the game! The launcher, the music, the background... I don't even know if creative is the appropriate word to describe this, but I am utterly amazed by the sheer vibe of this game, and it's such a banger take on the theme hahahahah
I reached around 2000 points but then I found it a little bit unclear whether anything else would happen. Regardless, this was a very nice room to vibe in for a while, and I enjoyed it a bunch :b
Thank you so much!! Super kind words :). This game is all about weird vibes, so I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Very happy you enjoyed the lil creatures screaming lol. Also, I agree, I could add a restart button on the Final Score screen so people know it's done haha. My current high score is 3105 points. Thanks again! :)
I love the bright, reto aesthetic and the little low-poly critters in the orbs! And it was really neat watching things continue to bounce around while I aimed my next shot. I felt like I was terrible at actually lining things up, but the coule of times I managed to get the ball into one of the tubes, it was really satisfying. Some sound effects would go a long way toward fleshing out the atmosphere.
All-in-all, a really fun little jam entry! Great work!
Thanks :)!! There are a few sound effects and music. They are just low volume, so I didn't hurt anyone's ears lol. Unless you are referring to more audio variety? Which I agree, I could use more variety in that department lol. I should probably add a volume slider if I return to this project in the future :)
Oh, whoa, yeah, I totally didn't notice the sound effects at all my first time though (though I did hear and like the music). My bad! But yeah I think a volume slider would be a great addition.
No worries at all! Thanks again for the feedback :)
this game is great i like the retro feel i dont like how you cant see your speed if there was a bar or the line rotated with your speed that would be great but otherwise very cool :)
Thank you!
I loved it!!! I thought the visuals were incredible I really liked how vibrant the game was! The audio was also really great I feel like it fit very well and it made the entire game feel a lot more chill! Very fun to experiment with throwing the balls at different speeds and at different points as they are spinning, good use of the theme :D
Thank you!! :)
I had a lot of fun with it. The ability to rapid fire shots and let the ducks bounce around while accumulating points is nice. The background music seems to pause pretty early on, I think it needs to be looped. Otherwise, great job!
Thank you so much! The looping music should be fixed now :)
The mechanic is promising, but a little confusing, there was no easy way to tell how strong my throw was going to be aside from the duck spinning around the main pivot.
I tried getting most stiles, reached around 1010 score but was also unclear on what the final goas was.
I enjoyed it myself, spam-clicked to spawn a bunch of ducks trying to break the game but it continue running very well! I would just add that maybe explaining the final goal or objective in-game, or on the game description, would make it way easier to understand.
Thank you! I added a 50-ball limit, so there is a bit more of a goal now :). Basically, just get a high score using your 50 balls. Also more hoops
I like: The visuals! Such a great ball duck! And I also love how you can see your last attempts by them just laying there.
Could improve: I felt a little lost as to what my goal is (coloring all floor tiles?) Maybe a progress counter on screen and how far my goal is away (max tiles?) would give a nice sense of progression :)
Thanks!! I added a 50-ball limit so that the game actually ends and has more of a goal :). Also added many more tunnels and hoops
I think its a good idea but i didn't udnerstand the game... I wish there had been a tutorial or a way to see my controls. Also idk if its just me but its glitchy and running at very low fps.
Thank you for the feedback! I just updated the game to make it much more enjoyable (not perfect, of course lol). I feel bad because I uploaded it with very minimal stuff, haha. I also put the controls on the Itch page :) As for performance, I'm not 100% sure what the issue is, as it seems okay on my devices
Loved the idea great job :)
Thank you so much! Just updated it and improved a bunch :)
