It is a nice pun the "sping web" thing. But the game seems incomplete. I just click 1 or 2 times into the screen and watch the spider play the game.

very cool game! I wish there was an upgrade system of sorts, like spinning faster, moving faster or through trees, different tower attacks, placing nets on the path to slow enemies, stuff like that to give some more progression

but overall a quite fun game, good job!

I like the idea of loading your towers! I also love a good tower defense. I do wish there was more player agency, preferably with placing their own towers or setting up traps of some kind. I also wish the game had an option to speed up as the levels could be slow at times. Still, good work on the game!

The game is pretty good! I thought I was going to die but I jut only beat the last level so the difficulty calibration must be spot on! If I had one request, it would be to add a health bar to let me know how many lives I have left. Unless it's there and I haven't seen it?

Well done!

I like a good tower defense, would have loved if just right-clicking the towers wouldnt do, but have a bit more engaging thing to do if i need to get from tower to tower manually :c nonetheless, game looks solid and i appreciate the use of a spooder in the spin to win category :)

This is a really well-polished game! The gameplay was simple, yet effective! Very cool twist on the theme

Nice game! Glad to see I'm not the only one making a game about a spider! Love the art, and the main mechanic is so unique!

I wished there were upgrades and stuff to spice up the gameplay, but otherwise really nice game!

I played through to wave 5 of level 3, and then the game locked up and I had to restart my browser to play again. Since I could restart at level 3, I gave it another try. I've been playing several games for the jam today, so maybe it was a result of multiple games, and not just this one alone that caused the issue. Restarting at level 3, I was able to finish the game without a repeat of the problem.

It would be nice if the towers had a visual cue when the silk reserve was at full, and when it was empty. The reserve is an key element of the UI, so it would also be nice if it was a bit more clear, especially on level 3. Those 3 center towers are so close together that the lower ones partially obscure the bar for the one above it. A more contrasting color for the bar would help it stand out, but a bit more distance between things so they are not blocked would be the best. The dotted lines showing range also end right by the bars, so when the mouse is over one it can add to difficulty in clearly seeing the bar. A contrasting solid color would really go a long way here.

I noticed that sometimes the bar was not empty, but the tower did not fire. I'm guessing that the amount you can fill by does not match the amount needed to fire, so while it was not empty, it did not have enough to fire. Since the player only has a single option to charge it up and it auto-fires, and there are no precise indicators of quantities, this should change so it is clear that the tower is unable to fire.

I played through to the end. It was pretty easy. The difficulty ramped up well with each level, though was still favoring being easy. For the final level I started by charging up the tower just below your start position to around halfway, then went to the 3 center towers, and just kept cycling through them. Only a few fairies got past and were easily dealt with by the second tower. On my restart I actually started with the tower to the left, then the one below, and then focused on the center 3, but nothing ever reached that last one.

This was a neat take on the jam theme, and worked well for a tower defense concept.

I was sceptical at first since you can't place the towers yourself.
Turns out it was still quite engaging on the later levels!
I think it's a really good interactive "toy" which could be expanded to an in depth game.
I'm curious how it would feel like as a "Mini RTS" where you control multiple spiders or being able to at least upgrade the towers yourself?

I think there's a lot of directions this could go but it's not quite there in terms of the idea.
Solid execution all the way through though!

I am a sucker for tower defense games and this was a cool spin on the genre!

Cool concept, i would have liked for it to have more spinning to it though, a bigger variety of tower types would also increase the replayability with maybe being able  to build your own!
