I defeated the wheel - but it seemed like it was too easy. I barely had to move forward in order to hit it. Maybe the hit box was just a lot bigger than I expected it to be, but it felt much easier to just sit back and click to attack without using any powerups or worry about moving around for anything.

If you continue to tinker with it, it might be good to modify hit boxes, hurt boxes, enemy movement (to go around behind you), and add some music/sound design to get it polished. Some additional levels may also be nice, especially if you want players to use more of the powerups (the game is pretty short as-is).

It's an interesting concept with opportunities!

Game was a bit too simple and spinning integration was mediocore:

- The UI is very interesting and I like the vibe you're going for it, kind of like we're viewing into behind the computer with the event log and everything

- After my spin landed on fireball, I just used that to win the whole game. If spinning should incentivise something

Simple action game, not bad

Audio would be a good addition for this game, the ui was very polished! Nice work :)

There's a lot going on here and I totally missed some of the mechanics my first few plays, like pressing tab to spin the wheel for abilities.  There was stuff going on in every corner of the screen and I just wasn't sure what to pay attention to.  That's something that could be improved upon.   But the core loop is fun.  There's the start of something here for sure.
Was there supposed to be music?  I saw a console message about it but never heard anything.

I liked the use of the theme! As others said, I feel like the game could be a bit harder, and adding some sound effects would be a good place to start for an eventual post-jam patch.

Nice job!

I think this is a very solid base for sure, with some sounds and little bit more complexity in the systems to make it harder, it would be even more enjoyable. I like the visuals and vibe, I think if you added some pickups/powers that affect your wheel spinning odds and/or the enemies debuff your wheel to modify/remove your abilities then it would be a valid step in the right direction. Very neat idea though and I see a lot of potential.

The theme usage is pretty clear in this one :)

It’s a nice take to cycle between abilities using the spinning wheel. The game is a bit easy though, I did not get hit any time and defeated the big wheel.

Some sounds would be nice, but the game looks pretty cool already.

Well done :)
