It is a bullet hell game.
I am not sure how exactly spin to win is incorporated.
It's a fun experience though, polished in visuals and audio but not finished in terms of gameplay balance, and can the shop be used at all?
I had fun playing your game, but it doesn't really matter what kind of bullets you get, the gameplay doesn't change much because of it. It would also be nice to be able to open a map to see where you are.
I really liked your graphic style, though. And music was pretty good.
Interesting game, the graphics were very sweet and colorful. The spin to win was good in theory, but I would say some graphic that pops up to show what you get with a short description. Another thing, the controls on the page is different to the ones in-game. Last thing, it would be a bit better if you could not shoot through the walls it would make more sense. All that criticism aside, a really fun cute game that I enjoyed playing till the end.
Really fun game!
very cool game, would like it if instead of wasd it would be wasd + arrow keys shown in the tutorial
Love the art style. And the rotating ammo types is a nice touch. Nice work!
love the art and polish put into the game
I really enjoyed the random assortment of guns! My favorite was the giant bullet, made me laugh out loud when I first got it. Also a big fan of the small details, like the bushes and boxes shaking and the shopkeeper having different voice lines. Nice job!
It's incredible that y'all were able to create this in the time frame of the jam! I enjoyed it a lot
Very cool artstyle!
The game art is great, and the level of polish is really impressive for a jam game. This is just overall a really well done and put together game
The artstyle is amazing and I love how many types of guns there are! I will say it was pretty tough to see the left and right exits to a room but that might have just been me. Great concept though and great submission!!
I love the artstyle and the feel of gameplay, favorite bullet was the large bullet, absolutely destroys.
I like the aoe spread bullet the most. The music is funky and the bullets are wacky!
I absolutely adore the style of this game. I can see that a lot of work went into making this game as pretty as possible. The graphics are lovely to look at and the music is fantastic (I would love to know who made these tracks!). The gameplay is simple and entertaining and the randomized levels give it slightly more depth and replayability.
Unfortunately, I think the game's viewport may not be set up correctly, as the doorways on the sides of the levels are always offscreen and thus practically invisible, even in Fullscreen mode, giving you no indication they are there. I also could not figure out how to interact with the shop.
I also think the gameplay could reflect the theme a little better by making spinning more integral, but overall this was a solid experience and a feast for the eyes and ears. Great Work!
i like minimalist graphics and colors, very satisfying to watch
Great game. Sometimes I'm lost because some of the next level indicator is quite faint. Haven't figured out how the shops work. But I figure out I can hold the mouse button and turn it into a machine gun. :P
The bullets changing into something random upon reload was pretty. The music and graphics was pretty cool. Got a little lost on where to go after a bit but I may be blind.
I can tell that a lot of effort went into this one. I like the music and art a ton. The gameplay is pretty standard and works exactly as well as it needs to. I liked the mechanic of getting new types of ammo every time you reload, but I didn't feel like all the types of ammo were that extremely different from each other (other than the missile). There were a few moments when I walked into a room and was pretty much immediately hit. I do think this counts as spinning at least a little bit because of the aiming, but other than that, I couldn't really find a connection to the theme. Still great job all around though.
I had a lot of fun with this and managed to finish it.
The controls were a little awkward, though. Pressing X to shoot with WASD movement gave me pretzel-hands. Also, I still have no idea how to interact with the shop.
The music was awesome!
