Nice idea and solid submission! I am a huge fan of those games so I spent some time on it. I think the only negative thing about it I could say is that I never found the automatic spin doing anything for me really, and the game as a whole felt just a bit to slow.

But the art and audio is solid, it looks like a well allround polished game. Very good! :)

I like it! There's not a lot of stuff, but it's nice and a good idea! Only little gripe is that the achievement "Capital Reserve" does not unlock permanently and it kind of hurts my completionist feelings. :D

cute little incremental game, the best thing of this game is the music, i really like it!

A nice little game! I like the premise - it reminds me of a clicker game, but with spinning!

I did notice that there is a bit of a scaling bug. On lower resolution screens, parts of the UI are a little broken, so I had to manually zoom out. The pixel art mining rig was cool, but it would have been even better if you made the other buttons match the same pixel art aesthetic.

Cool incremental game! I dont love the spinning with the mouse BUT I think thats just my own personal preference. Great pixel art too btw, thats what really drew me in

Nice job!! I like that you have to worry about the heat, made this one stand out as one you couldn't just infinitely spin. Lovely art as well!!

I enjoyed this, it was a nice incremental game.

I enjoyed that the game had the rig need to cool down, and there was an upgrade to cool down faster, but I feel that an upgrade to prevent the buildup would have been impactful. Especially with the automation generating heat alongside me. If there was an upgrade for the automation not to generate as much heat, then I wouldn't feel bad about keeping it on.

Great work!

Developer

The heat making you stop spinning it is an intended feature as we wanted the player to have to keep spinning it and watching it, but also, the cooling upgrades do affect the heat done by the automation as well. (in fact due to a small bug in the code, at level 25 it just has like nearly infinite cooling so the heat is permanently stuck to zero unfortunately) so technically it is possible to get enough upgrades to prevent any heat buildup. Thanks for the feedback!

i appreciate the settings tab !! i liked the simple idea of oil rig and also enjoyed the pixel art you made for upgrades (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) we also made a "spincremental" game

Liked it overall though i would have prefered a limited shorter progression than an automated infinite one as it turns not fun pretty quick.

The assets were simple but they fitted good enough. And the control of the core gimmick, spinning the wheel, felt pretty good actually.

Nice touch for it to be open source.

The most criminal part was the music! it wasn't bad perse, actually it was nice but the loop was super short and it grew old super fast.

Good luck!:D

Mhm, thanks for the nice feedback!
I (the person who made the music) had forgotten about it until the day it was due and managed to make it in like 1 hour, I also made a very cool theme but we never got time to add a cutscene or lore so the song went unused, if you're curious you can hear that here.
I also agree about the balancing, we were really rushed on time as we didn't get enough done near the start.

Did not expect to open up to a whole-ass score that went so hard loool
