Simple but effective idea

This is an interesting idea! I found it pretty hard to aim my shots, maybe it would feel better if you could shoot with a button press instead of shooting automatically at regular intervals, though once I started to kind of figure it out it did make for an interesting challenge I think. As a screenshake enjoyer, I very much appreciated the heavy screenshake whenever a shot was fired, though the projectiles felt a bit small for how powerful they otherwise felt. I liked it! Great job :)

Really like it! The controls actually weren't too bad, it was quite easy to know what to do and the actual gameplay is really fun :) The impact sounds when shooting are also really cool,

Thanks We'll make sure of that in our upcoming games

Definitely a cool idea for the gameplay loop! Just tapping to change direction while shooting on a cooldown. I think it needs more time to cook though, I'm not sure how to increase the score to win as killing enemies doesn't do it. It's also a bit too overwhelming to try to shoot enemies while simultaneously dodging their bullets.

In my opinion, it should have been one or the other:

  • Either enemies don't shoot, no dodging, only mechanic is to shoot enemies yourself by timing your movement (and if you leave them on the screen alive for too long then you lose one hp and they disappear)
  • Or you need to just dodge projectiles without shooting anything yourself, needing to simply survive for a period of time or a number of enemy waves. Time your movement to avoid bullets coming from every direction, and enemies disappear after shooting one or two bullets at you.

As people already pointed out, this is a fresh concept that can work, I think its pretty cool. You guys can really turn it into something interesting!

The concept is fun and the controls feel responsive, which is a great start. However, the game still feels very raw. One issue is that you can pass several rounds without actually doing anything which removes the challenge. The controls aren't shown anywhere on screen, so new players have no guidance. The death screen also needs work it wasn't immediately clear that I had died, I initially thought it was just another enemy attack from the character orbiting the planet.

This is an interesting concept. I wish there were some kind of beat to time my shots better, and my score never seemed to increase.
