Many games are lacking ratings, and the forced random queue which you had to go through seems to be gone, which only will harm the games that are un heard of. Drop your game here and I (alongside others, possibly) will rate it!

was quite a fun game to someone who likes gambling things, is 80 score super good or just an average?

Will definitely review yours.

Would love to have you try ours, thanks!

art style and music is amazing in this game, gameplay was kinda mid but fun. I dont really know what the rolled abilities do, and the only form of attack seems to be spamming left mouse button as fast as possible while aiming at the boss (with barely doing any damage), unless I'm missing something (which I probably am)

Submitted

Yes, that's valid. Most of the game was built as a foundation with much more planned for player abilities, upgrades, and attacks (just ran out of time). So, it turned into a bullet sponge attack system via clicking when aiming at the boss.

The glyphs each represent a different boss ability when rolled, this allows for each boss fought to have different combinations of abilities ensuring battles are not all the same. (Ended up with 7 unique boss abilities due to time, but the game was built with modularity in mind so adding more is super easy. For instance, I was able to add 4 just in the time crunch on the last day of development while mainly focusing on other things that day.)

Thanks so much for playing the game, it means a ton to me! 😊

Not gonna lie, I would love to see this game have a proper full release! Would love to play it

Submitted

Thanks so much, that really means a lot! Definitely was planned way over scoped for this game jam and would probably make a better game as a full release. Thank you again for playing it and the encouragement! 🙂

Check out my submission Corporate Spin: /jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4719901

It's a game about shooting corporate workers with confetti bullets!

Submitted

that was really fun lol, it only lacked in content and little polish but its a good foundation to build a full game on

If you're in for an "easy to learn / hard to master" Platformer, check out my game: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

It's inspired by games like "Getting over it" (but not as hard and frustrating, I promise ;))

Game was fun, I definitely see the inspiration you took from Getting over It, and I definitely was getting mad at this as I was in GOI xD
Great work man, the art style was also a pretty cool one!

Check out my game about spinning on a stage: https://wingfall.itch.io/spin-show

Looking forward for more feedback!

Nice little game, kinda fun but there doesnt seem to any goal except for trying to beat your score. I could see it being developed in the future with more content and features, like different maps or some kind modifiers

it's a rhythm game with increasing difficulty, upgrades and hampter!! It gets really hard.

Submitted

Hey sadly the game keeps crashing on me so I'm not able to play it :(

If you could publish a Linux or a web build then I would 100% be able to run it

Pretty fun game, if there was some kind of progress like unlockable hamster skins and some kind of marketing I could see the game popping off!

Submitted

I actually thought about adding those too, but due to my current skill level, I had to boldly cut out features I couldn't finish in time. 😂
I'm so glad you see potential in the game though

we want your opinion!!

It's a nice fun game, I really liked the art style it felt quite unique. Spent a good amount of time on it but I couldn't get the gold medal, I think my best was 78km it's just too hard for me, but I always appreciate a good challenge :D

Submitted

I myself haven't gotten a gold medal yet haha, we plan on expanding the game quite a fair bit, so crazy good job on making it to 78km! :)

thanks for the nice review :)

Nice game, but I feels kind of barebones, more enemy types would be nice and some kind of powerups like increased spin speed or health regen could make the game more fun. Still good job on making the game! I really liked the detail where voices were getting louder when the less health u had

Submitted

I'll try out your game and the other games here in this post too, there are good looking ones for sure. Here is mine: https://rocrac.itch.io/ninth-rotation

Fun game, at first I didn't understand the spinning thing exactly but then got a good understanding on how the wheel exactly works. Good job mate!
