Really cool idea. A bot opponent would have been cool but it's a great game nevertheless.

I don't know if it's a bug or I missed something, but either falling out of the arena - or making the other player fall out - doesn't move the counter at the top.

I reallyyy love how this looks, for ages I was thinking "this would be cool if it was two players" before realising it IS two players with the arrow keys haha. I honestly might have to come back to it with someone. I already love the cinematic setup at the beginning and the arena is quite nice, the only thing it really lacks is some hurt feedback and that kind of stuff. You've got something good here!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the idea. I really liked your visuals and the intro was really cinematic and good.

The enemy AI just felt lackluster and posed no real threat and did lack some juice too impacts didn't feel impactful
Really impressed for what looks like your first game on itch though!

I was thinking the same thing about the AI, but I just realized that I think it's meant to be a  PvP game since the arrow keys control the other player
