Very beautiful game, some outstanding art and animations. Just the dice roll animation itself wow'd me.

I have some terrible luck but I can clear the memory game very easily so i was able to beat the game but I "died" so many times.

Unsure if it was an intended effect but I managed to cheat the system, if you use a matching symbol on a patient symbol already activated it counts towards the total of active symbols cured, so I was able to clear some patients while they had unactivated symbols. (This helped me a lot cause certain situations I couldn't roll that one last symbol type I needed)

Only other suggestion I have is maybe a sort of way to tell you've already sued a die to activate a symbol.

Nice work.

Hey thanks for playing and for your helpful feedback!

The usage of a symbol multiple times is a bug indeed and we actually found out about it after we submitted the game, but the fact that you discovered it wow'd me xD That means you played a lot! We will fix this in the post-jam version among some other things to try balance the game the better way possible. Your input about the used die is pretty important too so we will definitely look into it!

We are glad you enjoyed our game, thank again!

For me, playing on 80% in Firefox worked just fine. Maybe fullscreen would solve the UI issue? Otherwise it was a great game! I really liked the artstyle and the jazzy music. I feel like buying the reroll dice for 2 coins was way to unbalanced in comparision to other items. Would probably keep it at the 5 coins.

Really cool game! I liked the use of the theme quite a lot, and the mechanics and visuals were both great! I had some issues with the web player where the scene graphics were not scaling with the viewport so I had to zoom the web page out to line it up, but once I did that it all fit together. Really simple gameplay concept but it really hooked me and I was keen to see how far I could get. Nice work!

Very interesting game! I loved the overall feel and effects used, it makes the game feel polished and satisfying

very interesting game mechanics and concept! definitely some issues, i've had a few mutants become happy and leave while i still had at least one of their symbols not cured. also didn't quite understand and wasn't a fan of the timer that sometimes popped up: if characters have a timer, i think i would have preferred to see the whole thing, not just the last few seconds. also, i believe a few times the happy-customer face didn't match the mutant-customer?

but with all that said, amazing art, and an amazing entry! well done!!

Hey thanks for playing and for the feedback. Thats a lot stuff I ll have to check out. The timer only wokrs for the last roll you have. When you roll it you have 5 seconds to act (reroll, match symbols). The timer was made out of necessity because there was an issue when player is rolling their last roll where the customer was leaving immediately. So yeah I believe the timer is not good but helps in someways. Cheers!

The level of polish on this entry was amazing. The art was very beautiful, and I loved the limited color palette that you used. I want to limit my color palette one of these game jams, but I like color too much and all of my art looks like a candy shop. 😂 Great job!

Developer

I agree color is so hard to choose but limiting options can work benefitialy some times, but of course more colors means more life imo. Thank you for playing!

One of the best games on jam. The art looks incredible, the animations are very beautiful, and I'm impressed. The gameplay is also engaging, and the sounds and music are pleasant and fit the atmosphere. Very cool
