Making a custom engine project in just the last two days of the jam is an incredible feat, major respect for pushing through and submitting it! The minimalistic visuals are really pleasant and stylish, it sets a very unique mood right away.

If I had to give a bit of feedback, the buttons in the menu blend in with the background quite a bit, which can be a little confusing at first. Also, giving the story a little more room to breathe and expanding on the player's choices would really elevate the whole experience. You definitely have some really interesting ideas here with a lot of potential! Great job on finishing the project!

Thank you I had a small time frame so I had to cut down on the story and branches to save time as two days was not enough time to write down a complete backstory and such so I had time to only include the main part of the story and even then had to shorten it since the game currently has two outcomes. I plan on working on it soon but for now I just want to rest and collect enough feedback before going back to it.

It's hard to call it a game when all you do is stare at the screen and read the narration that's chosen for you. The story could've been interesting if it had more time to breathe, but it's unfortunately too rushed (at least that's what it felt like with the choices I ended up with). The best thing about this project is the visuals, the minimalistic style is quite pleasant; too bad you decided not to stick to the black, red and white colour palette all the way through. Overall, it's a series of bizzare design choices, but honestly, good on you for making and releasing something. It still beats not making anything imo.

Thanks for the comment. To be honest it was rushed. My original idea was a Godot game but I realized that I would not be able to finish in time and had the last two days to start a new project and the pressure to really submit as I’ve been wanting to release something for a while and this game jam was my only reason to actually do something. I plan on working on the game later on but I’m not really sure when and I’ll take your advice into consideration thanks again.

Good luck! You clearly have some interesting ideas with a lot of potential, they just needed more time, so I believe you can create something awesome if there's no quickly approaching deadline looming over you.
