I really like the idea and how it's built, but I should try it with a mouse as you recommend, it's too hard with a touchpad🤣

Really fun and unique game. Not a big fans of the visual but I definitely agree that there is some aesthetic on it. Overall it is really enjoyable and fun!

The level of tech art on display here is really impressive. It's something I've always wanted to be better at so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit jealous of how well all the effects come together here. Really cool mechanics also.

Thank you for playing! I just watched the stream, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Very fair comments on the visuals haha – it is indeed just a shader, with one animated sprite XD  And thank you for the comments on the music. It's not directional audio, but glad it felt like it lol!

Interesting Idea, but it ramps up way to fast for us. The lizards just swarm us and we can't spend any time gathering ants.

The look and tone of this game is awesome. I really liked the idea of the player being like a collective consciousness or something, and the lizards and picking way at you.

This is so creative and builds a really strong oppressive atmosphere even though it could be handled in a really silly manner too. I got really protective of my ants and thankfully managed to win on the second try. You did a great job here!

Very unique visual style, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. Scattering the ants with your shots creates some interesting push-and-pull, but I felt like the game was a bit too hard because the lizards spawn too fast and because I couldn't drag the ants back in too quickly. 

Overall, interesting game, congrats on the submission!

I really liked the visuals they were great.

The collection of the ants was a little confusing and it seemed like the amount you  were able to keep  way outweighed how many you lost

Amazing atmosphere and visuals! Love it!

I absolutely adore how this game looks, the aesthetic makes it stand out from other entries I've seen.  The use of the theme is incredibly creative, too! For criticism I found it a little difficult to get the controls right and thought the pink dots were the actual ants for a very long time,  even with all the information given it is slightly confusing to understand exactly how the gathering ability should be played (it may be just a skill issue).

Overall this is very polished and nicely done!! You should be incredibly proud of yourself, well done!

Thank you for playing! Other people have been confused about the pink dots, so I think I need to make them a little less saturated or something. When I was making the game I imagined the gathering mechanic feeling almost like "jacks," where you have to do one thing really quickly between doing something else. But I'm not really sure fully that came across. Thanks for the feedback!

This game was fascinating. I've never hated lizards as much as I did while playing this. 

I did find it hard to gauge what 10% looked like or if I was close to losing, but I eventually saw the number in the top left.

I really loved the visuals and overall aesthetic.
