Nice game! The mouse controls are kinda difficult and at least for me the sensitivity was way too high, so it was very hard to stay in the sun zone. Also I couldn't tell which skills I had available. Not sure if I missed something.
I like the concept of trying to stay in the zone and knock out the other guy. It reminds me of beyblade haha. Good job!
Pretty good game! My only gripe is that the mouse controls are a bit too confusing, and it was really difficult to aim. I love the art and audio work in this game though, great job!
This felt so fluid and fun to play! Personally, I thought it was really interesting to make the movement be like tank controls but on mouse movements! I don't think I've ever played a game like that (even on this jam), but I like it way more than calculating your launch direction based on the direction from the player to the mouse. It just feels so much cleaner not having to chase the player with the mouse, while still getting the precise input from mouse controls - I found it brilliant!
Such kind words, thank you so much for your input I truly appreciate it from a game dev that's still learning!
Great feeling in the game, but the controls were HARD! I never quite figured out how to aim. It would probably have been easier to have a visible mouse pointer than just the arrow. Great visual style as well. Good job!
oo good point! I appreciate you giving me some good and detailed feedback thank you!
Unique take on a win condition, I like it. Got to wave 5 and got absolutely destroyed :(
Does the direction of the spinner change with your mouse delta instead of position? By the end my hand moved on its own and could control the spinner quite well but it was hurting my brain. I'm very curious as to why you decided to go in that direction. It's a very unique control scheme.
A small issue the game has is that the emission of the centre area (the one you have to capture) hides the direction arrow of your spinner, making it very difficult to aim when it matters most.
I would be happy with the game, it's a finished experience with gameplay that feels good and done by a solo dev in a week. Good job.
Yes I does actually! I don't know why but I just found when play testing it was more natural for me to do it that way, although I never indented to end up that way haha. Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate the thought you put into your comment, keeps me going as a new dev!
Fun game! Got destroyed on round 2 because I'm allergic to reading so I thought I had to blast against the opponent, but even so I won a round and it was still fun!
I love how the game looks. I kinda got hard destroyed by the enemy fidget spinner when they reached insane speeds... The abilities are very cool, I wish I got to use more...
(There was one glitch where the enemy just straight up kept not spawning in the zone, so I gave it a restart and it worked fine again)
Actually really enjoyed this, very hard to see where I was aiming but I think that just added to the chaos of it. Well done!
