Toxic workplaces are very serious. Gameplay was surprisingly fun once you figured it out. Putting stuff in/out of boxes is simple, but the sound/visual design and boss make it enjoyable. Weirdly enough I wish the boss was a bit faster. It’s very easy to get out of the way without the dodge move. It’s also easy to accidentally drop the box when squeezing around corners. The box stuff being color coded is also a bit iffy with the flashlight as it brightens up the colors (which is rough when there’s another color with a darker/lighter shade). Though I really appreciate the camera making geometry you’re behind transparent (along with the arrows, as you might drop it behind somewhere).
That was a lot of fun! It took me a minute to figure out the delivery packages. Really enjoyable game! Loved the visuals, enjoyed the gameplay. Not sure how I felt about the upgrade system or the combat, but dealing with a hostile work environment while still fulfilling the needs of our customers was spot on =D
That was a pretty angry boss I should say xD
Great graphics, I'm really impressed. However, I didn't quite understand where to deliver the packages u.u Maybe a small tutorial or explanatory screen at the beginning could help.
Also, kudos for disclaiming all the used assets.
Very confusing and overwhelming to start off but really fun when you get the hang of it! love the visuals
Yes, this truly says a lot about the economic state of our society. Even if you work perfectly the entire time, you will still be treated like garbage by those who want more. Reminds me of that time SpongeBob had to hunt jellyfish to extinction because Mr. Krabs had the extreme urge to capitalize as much as possible off of it.
Pretty difficult right off the bat, but great quality. Very interesting dynamic ideas. Could be much more dramatic if the boss only reveals or turns on at random intervals. Let the player slip into a false sense of security and then hit them with varying intensity of boss attacks
It was a bit fustrating at first, I was trying figure out what the game wants me to do, as there is no tutorial, and the text description under it is too vague. I saw a youtube video in this comment section and I watched it to learn how to play this game.
Aside from the lack of a tutorial this game has brilliant visuals, audio, and creativity. It's a fun game that balances evasion and fighting. Well done!
It took me a while to figure out what I should be doing. It's a cool concept but I think a little more guidance to get started would be nice.
good game that balances running away from the enemy with being able to fight back, i did find it was annoying that the rng was screwing me over at times making me wait an extra 2-3 tasks to get enough bullets to win but thats just the nature of rng i suppose
It’s really well made game full of nice details. It can take a little while to understand everything, though. 😄
My mistake was that I didn’t read the “How to Play” section on the itch.io page before I started playing. 😄 Maybe it would be helpful to have an ingame main menu with the controls and a short tutorial, but since the instructions are already on the page, it’s still fine.
I also really like how the intro transitions naturally and seamlessly into the gameplay. 😄
Uploaded my first ever YouTube video playing some of the jam games and played Serious Stock Bot!
Thanks again for a great experience!
