I thought it was frustrating at first before I understood it was more of an incremental game. Knowing that, quite a good entry honestly.

Neat simple little game, though there wasn't much spinning involved (unless you were spinning the spring, or something?). It was also hard to earn enough coins to buy any upgrades with the RNG I had - a lot of jumps I only had one coin, and multiple jumps I didn't get anything. It would have taken a while to work up to 25 or 50 coins to get the first upgrade.

If you continue tinkering with it, I'd look into some lower upgrade tiers so those first few coins can be put to use somewhere, even if it's just a small upgrade to the spring for initial bounce height. Also, some background music would be nice to go along with the rest of the sound design with the coins. There's a lot of free options for music out there, like freesound . org, so I'd recommend taking a look there and just attributing credit as appropriate for the sound file(s) you pick up.

Nice little game though, and cool to see games made in Pico-8!

This game made me miss doodle jump! graphics are very cool only missing thing is like meters showing how further we flew

This was really fun! This style felt nostalgic in the best way possible! But I don't think it exactly fits with the theme.

This is a simple but fun game! I like the concept a lot and it's very satisfying to get rocketed into space after chaining a few coins. My main thought was that the coin chaining feels pretty random to me. I almost wish I shot up a little slower so that I had a split second to see coins coming above me and steer towards them. But honestly it's pretty fun as is, so maybe the randomness is fine!

it was cool and short, i liked the upgrade system and made it to the moon!
but... there was barely any spin element? maybe the propeller hats count

I absolutely love this game, and not just because I'm a Celeste OG. The multiplicative speed and the speed chains you can form with it are soooo fun. The few upgrades you buy at the start allow you to get the hang of the game properly.

I'd be happy if you'd also try our game!

OMG THIS WAS SO FUN!!! And it's made in PICO-8??

Combining an incremental game with something like doodle jump is brilliant. The art is super cute too!

Second PICO-8 game I've seen this jam, which is interesting... It played similar to another jam game, I believe it was TO THE MOON?

I loved this one too, the jumps on coins was fun, and once you got propeller and cat food, you could practically go up infinitely, and just cycle through. There was a win condition?! I was in space for sooo long too. Cute art and sfx!

Yes you if you fly in space long enough you will reach moon

I loved this game, which is among my favorite PICO-8 games I've played so far in this jam.  On the simple side and on the easy side, but still a lot of fun.  But the little cat is so cute when it has all of its upgrades; that's such a nice little touch.

I wish it matched the theme a little better, but other than that I had a great time.  My only other critique is that I wish there was some kind of indicator of how far along you were.  Once you're into space, things go on for a long time before you win, to the extent that I wasn't sure there was a win condition; but I'm glad I stuck it out to see the victory screen, which is also very cute.

Great job!

Okay, I've played this game, it's very cool, but the controls.... It's a bit strange, but I liked the moon landing simulator - it's very realistic

keyboard controls were a bit confusing but i still enjoyed the game. unfortunatly spin theme is barely implemented

It was a wonderful game! When I played, I didn’t encounter any spin elements, but the idea of jumping when you collect a coin was brilliant.
