I played this after the results were in but I forgot to comment how much I liked it. I really loved how you could fully customise the wheel and remove / add whatever segments you wanted. And the combat is super simple but very fun. I just wanted to keep playing it after the game ended!

congs on the work well done. This is so polished for such a short time
What an unbelievable job! The game feel is so professional! Actually, everything is, the art, the sound, the effects. I loved the mechanics, even though it's pretty easy to exploit some upgrades like the reroll. Flawless work, congratulations!
As soon as I saw the art style during battle, the next enemy action indicator, and how the block depletes when the turn is over I realized that this is so inspired by Slay the Spire - which is one of my absolute favorite games so I really enjoyed this game! I was able to beat this on my first try along with the final boss on the first spin. I do think I got too overpowered from relics that gave +30% or +15% attack power while utilizing the wedge piece that sums the value of the attack wedge on both sides (skewer both sides). At the same time, creating a build that works and makes you feel overpowered is huge piece to a fun roguelike. I do think this could've been a bit more challenging, but I am too experienced with roguelikes, haha. Regardless, this was one of my faves of this jam and it felt super polished. Excellent work!
I really liked the polish that was done on all the menus, it added much needed presence in areas that might have been boring otherwise. The art style is also great, what program did you use? The gameplay was fun but sadly I experienced a bug that stopped me from being able to activate the spinner on f2/3, r2/5 and even after activating the skip it persisted for the next combat. Great job!
One of my favorite games on this jam! It's very well done, the graphics are super, it's a pity that the levels are so small. I found a way to keep spinning, and the game is easier than ever. This should be fixed. Let's say no more than one roll per attack.
I liked the mechanic of organizing wheel giving opportunities to create synergies and strategies! It is very fun roguelike deck wheel building game! Especially the artstyle and cut-paper-edges!
Respin is _sooo_ strong.
I really enjoyed this. My first run I breezed through on high respin chance and then massively buffing my attack, so a large number of fights were over after my first spin. The fact that I went through zone one and then died to the first floor boss tells me that I was mostly just lucky on the first tun and that the game isn't just too easy.
Nice work all around.
Wow. I think this is my favorite game of the game jam. I played through the entire game and barely killed king Beaver with 15 health left- 537 coins total. I am beyond impressed with how much detail was put into practically every action- the spinning wheel rolling into every battle was so cool to see. The art style was also super charming. I would love to see this go further with more levels. Incredible job to everybody who worked on this game!
Now this is one of my favorite games on the jam! You’ve come up with some truly fantastic and, most importantly, you did very well-balanced gameplay, all while keeping the wheel spinning randomly. That’s really impressive. I beat the game on my third try and would play more if there were more content.
I also want to praise the UI, it’s just fantastic in the game. Everything clicks very smoothly, everything is very user-friendly, and the wheel customization mechanics are also implemented perfectly (though maybe you could make the reroll button a bit bigger, I didn’t find it right away). I had nothing but fun playing this game! Great job!
This was really in depth for how little time you had to do it, I was really shocked! I really enjoyed just everything about this, the art style is unique and fun, the dialogue silly so serious, and the mechanics felt so nice. I think I just have bad luck because I ran out of health very easily and was not getting very many potions even though I would spend a lot on block, maybe I should have went the glass canon route lol You did a great job and it was a lot of fun to play!
