A very nice take on the idea to rig a slot machine with psychic powers, the gameplay is neat! Though I had some trouble figuring out the money and how the slot machines work, I think a little explanation of the game at the start would clear up the game loop quite a bit. Overall this was a great submission!

Good minigame for the gambling here, I think making it the bar going up more dynamic, maybe slowing down towards the middle and speeding up towards the end, would make it a bit more fun, but that's just me. Likewise on what ElitoGame said, I wasn't always able to hit up to access the slot machines, it was hit and miss.

Interesting game, I struggled with understanding why the bar went up three times until I noticed that they actually corresponded to the icons in the machine - neat looks good! However the layered ghosts moving in front made this a bit tricky to see on the first try. I did manage to get through 3 days, however it’s a real gamble when you don’t even know how much you need to reach ^^” 1st day 100, 2nd 200, so I was expecting to need 300 or 400 for day 3, but instead it was 200 again? I mean nice, but also difficult to predict then. As it stands the game has an interesting mechanic, but suffers from the long wait times while the bouncer is sus. Oh and I ran into a bit of an issue where pressing W or up arrow didn’t open the casino every time, which was quite frustrating, when pressing it multiple times, only to then be thrown into a rushed task at a point where you are no longer “as ready” because it’s unpredictable when it goes through. Similarly, operating the casino sometimes only showed me 2 bars before calling it done, which I assume is a bug with taking double inputs (on mouse up/on mouse down or smth). However the game had decent art and a funky story, so good job on that!

Alright as per usuas I will give a play by play of me playing the game. But first impressions: The title name is cool! Though the embed on the page is weird and glitchy. I had to scroll to the side to find the full screen button.

  • Gambled my money. I now have 500 money. I do not know what to do with this money.
  • Clicked door. Nothing happens. Is there a shop?
  • Ah pressing up near the door gets me to the shop and it seems I can go through.
  • I somehow lost even though I still had money?
  • Trying again. Maybe I have to pay rent or something.
  • Starting the game with mega negative money now? -2k? what?
  • I instantly lost again
  • Ok I don't get this game!

BUT. I loved the aesthetic and the idea of an incremental gambler game with ghosts is good! Wish there was any audio. Overall good concept. Good first round. There is just a weird bug for me so that I can't play more even though I wanted to try again.

Thank you for making this!

took a bit to get used to

The default screen size made it hard for me to get going.

Little bit confusing, but still cute! I think your game would benefit from a tutorial room

Developer

If its confusing, the description i think explains it pretty well. Also the slots thing is a timing minigame where you click to stop it(you want it in the green)

I dont really get it, could you explain it? And dont you worry! my game also has explaining issues

Developer
